  1. Here are some of my favorites "DO IT Yourself" recipes:

Honey Facial Cleanser or Mask (All Skin types)
Prepare a mixture of 1 tsp of honey, 1 tsp of lemon juice and
1/2 tsp of yellow sugar. Gently apply to face with circular motions, leave on for
5 minutes as a cleanser or 30 minutes as a mask, rinse with lukewarm water and you're done. ==> This is the best mask I ever used.

Honey: A Natural Humectant (Helps keeps moisture in) & Antimicorbial (Kills Bacteria)
Sugar: A Natural Glycolic Acid to remove dead skin cells
Lemon: Rich in fruit acids that will gently remove dead skin cells and bleach darkened or discolored areas

Aspirin Mask (Salicylic acid aka BHA is derived from Asprin)
Benefit: Reduce Inflammation, Help clear pores, and smooth skin
Do not use if you are allergic to Aspirin

    What you'll need:
2 uncoated Aspirin, a couple of drops of whole milk, a pinch of sugar, a few drops of essentials oil or vitamin e (optional), a splash of honey (optional)

Dissolve uncoated Aspirin with a couple drops of milk (about 4 drops) then put a couple drops of essential oil of your choice (ex: tea tree, lavender, vitamin e, etc), a splash of honey. Mix into paste.

    How you do it:
    - Two to three times per week, apply thin layer of mask to entire face and neck, avoiding the eye contour area.
    - Leave mask on for 10-15 minutes, then moisten fingertips and gently massage mask into skin, rewetting your fingers often.
    - Rinse with lukewarn water, pat dry.

Important Note: This mask can be drying for some users, so do not use more often than recommended, no matter how much you may be tempted by the miraculous reduction in red marks from previous breakouts! Also, it is a good idea to followup this mask by applying a nice, rich facial moisturizer after rinsing mask off. For extremely sensitive skin, you do not need to leave it on for as long as directed, or else you may cut back and use mask only 1-2 per week.

    Apple Honey Facial Mask
This is good for Oily or Acne Prone skin.
1 medium size apple, grated fine
    5 tablespoon of honey
Mix the grated apple and honey well. Smooth over skin and let sit for 10 minutes.
    Rinse off with cool water.

    Banana Mask
    Put Moisture Back into skin

    Ingredients:
    2 medium bananas
    *honey optional
    Instructions:
Mash bananas. Add honey if desired. Smooth over skin,
let sit for 10 minutes, rinse off with cool water

    Milk of magnesia mask
    Absorbs excessive oil

    Ingredients:
flavorless Milk of Magnesia (Available at any drugstore in the anti-acid section)
    Instructions:
Apply a thin layer to the skin and leave it on for 20
    min then rinse

    Baking Soda Exfoliator
Good Exfoliator and helps remove blackheads

Ingredients: Any gentle cleanser such as Cetaphil; A nickel size or quarter size or Baking soda.

Mix and gently scrub. Then rinse. Make sure you don't get it in your eyes cause it will sting!

    Remove Hair Build Up
Mix equal part of your favorite shampoo with Lemon Juice. Pour some lemon juice in your palm then pour shampoo. Mix in your palm and shampoo your hair. Then rinse. Follow with the Add shine honey treatment.

    Add Shine Honey Conditioner
Mix equal part of your favorite conditioner with Honey. Pour some honey in your palm then pour conditioner. Mix in your palm and leave it in hair for a few minutes. Then rinse.

I love the aspirin mask. I usually crush the tablets and mix it with Cetaphil and a drop of lavender oil. It makes my complexion really glow. I haven't had a blemish in 3 years.

I also use a avocado mask for my hair. Crush one avocado. One teaspoon of olive oil. 1/4 Teaspoon of sesame oil. A few drops of lavender oil. And one teaspoon of vanilla. Coat your hair. Leave on for 15 and wash it out.

    fixing minor bald spots
to make hair grow back and cover those bald spots from overuse of styling products

take one egg, seperate the egg white and the egg yolk(i use a spoon), put the egg yolk in a bowl and add 1 ~ 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Mix together till they both blend together. Put the stuff over your bald spots. Leave on for 15 ~ 20 min then wash out. do this like 3 times a week and you'll see results extremely quickly

Milk of magnesia has an extreme smell that stays a bit
so wouldn't recommend it, unless you aren't thinking of going out for a few hours at least

    Song Hye Kyo's beauty secrets:

Found this on the internet :D

    Song Hye Kyo's beauty secrets:

Song Hye Kyo's good skin is famous in the entertainment industry, lately her natural (no-makeup) pictures were released on the web, although there was no hint of foundation, her skin still had a "see-through"-glowing-texture. let's see her beauty secrets:

    1) whitening file:
--did you know about the very affordable & useful egg white-whitening use?
~use a fresh egg white and spoonful of honey & mix evenly. before bed...apply to your face. wait a while for it to dry. rinse with water...use every 2 weeks. ~
[the egg white may stimulate the skin cell, stimulates blood circulation, effectively repairs any facial damage..(i assume like freckles & what not)....the egg-yolk includes the rich lecithin, the glycerin trinitrate fat and the vitellin, is element which in very many whitening products must contain.]

    other uses of honey:
~take honey & add 2 to 3 times water to dilute...apply to face & massage. helps brighten skin & reduce fine lines. use every 2 weeks.~
~a spoonful of honey, powdered milk, 1 egg white, mix well then apply face. use a cotton pad to apply a light layer. wait 20 mins than rinse with water. use ever 2 weeks...good for dry skin.~

milk makes the skin soft & smooth:
~song hye kyo's other secret is using milk to wash her face...also often using milk as mask for facial...making her skin soft like velvet. when busy filming...to relieve tired skin and keep the firmness of skin...song hye kyo uses cucumber mask for emergency purposes.~

    2)diet:
~song hye kyo's secret is stay away from food that is bad for the skin...like chocolate, coke, black tea (it's actually "紅茶"...but i think it's called black tea in english...ie...lipton i think is considered black tea)...etc...song hye kyo firmly refuses to eat. she eats lots of fruits, veggies, and occassional egg. she also pays attention to vitamins, for moisture.~

    3) face slimming
~song hye kyo also taught a trick that makes the face seem smaller. use ice cubes + 冰涼玉石...(im not sure what this is)..in the summer to massage the tired skin...this helps her skin feel more firm & tight..displaying a new fresh charm.~

    good information

  17. Does this really work? I'm just a bit suspicious whether the olive oil will cause excess oil build up on your scalp. Also, wouldn't it be hard to wash the olive oil out afterwards?
