JAPAN IS AN ISLAND. IT'S SURROUNDED BY WATER, WITH BEACHES ON ALL OF ITS SIDES.

why would they need an indoor beach?

i agree with ecko, it would be funny if it cost money to get in. when just 10 miles away ... the real FREE beach.

 

damn you Japan, we need one of those in London, we should change to millenium dome into an indoor beach! That will be SO cool!
