share your ghost encountering experience

just as the title says if anyone has seen a ghost share with us we all like to read a good ghost story at times especially if its real.

 

well i never saw one before, but i know a friend whose sister might have encountered one. She went to a Washington D.C trip a few years ago for a school trip. That night she and her friends were sharing a hotel room. They were watching t.v when the hotel suddenly lost power for a few seconds. When the power were back on, they turned on the t.v and the channels where switching by itself. They got scared and turned off the tv and started to talk. After talking a while, they heard an unexplained giggle. The next day they were talking to their other classmates who was about 4 floors below them. When they told them about the channels turning by itself, their classmates asked them "did you hear the giggle after that too?"

 

*turns flashlight towards face*

You can believe this or not, but it happened. I wasnt the only one experiencing this.

When i left Japan to study abroad in england, i rented a flat in a older part of the city(croyden) and oddly enough my rent was much less expensive then the other tenants because the landlord said it was "discounted"

I paid my deposit in advance the fortnight(2 weeks). The first night i remember unpacking and getting settled in when i heard the toilet flush. Then later that night i noticed that the lights would sometimes turn off themselves then back on sometimes. I thought it was because this was an old flat that it wasnt that big of an issue.

Later that night around 3am, i heard a real mean aggressive words from my kitchen and heard a plate break, i was so scared...that i didnt move a bit that night and waited til morning.

I remember i was in a complete cold sweat. And the next morning i went into the kitchen and there was broken plates and some things were moved around(salt shaker or newspaper on the table)

I got scared and called my friend over to spend the night, i thought perhaps an intruder came in and found nothing he wanted. but later that night with a friend same thing happened, same time. after that i never slept in that flat again and left, i ended up moving to my friends house.

a few weeks later to pick up my deposit i ask the other tenant why they paid more then my flat. My neighbour said " all i know is that back in the 80's there was a severe aggressive/abusive alcoholic that lived there, and from what i heard he died in his sleep from over drinking" and right then and there I WAS SO SCARED!!!

i dont know, but it makes perfect sense to me why things were like that in my flat now. thats why the rent is so cheap, no one can stay there long enough...why i heard curse words and things breaking. maybe since he died in his sleep he doesnt know hes dead and he keeps recurring his dreary nights thinking hes still alive. but that day on.....i swear i believe in *them* my friend does as well. but it was by far the scariest and weirdest thing i could have felt to this date.

:O. i used to live in a haunted house in san jose when i was about 4? well yeh late at night you hear foot steps up & down the stairs. well yeh uhh when my mom bought the house she didn't know a kid died there, yeh when she found out we immediately moved out ;[ now currently living in los angeles tho.. i heard that once you encounter a ghost. they foll you for life? :\

 

I don't know if it was a ghost, but one time I was sleeping and something was holding me down. I don't know what but I was so scared. When I wake up, I was so happy I can move again.

 

Well... when I use to be in High School in Hong Kong. I always see a white glow of shadow flowing around my house 3 days a week. But then I am not sure is that my illustion or plainly a ghost hanging out with us.

 

Hey, i had a very similar experience when i was 6 or 7, but in mine i was choked physically twice and it stopped 10 minutes before my dad came into to wake me. It was really frightening, i woke up and then i saw two red eyes then some figure stand on my bed and say "Get out or die!" When i heard die it was like ice cold chills came over me. I couldnt move or talk, i kept trying to say please let me go, but couldnt say it and i was about to black out and then i saw it jump away and watch me from my closet then it made some whispering noises again then began to choke me again.

I was completely awake when this happened and I was so scared, I was in shock. I tried yelling for my dad but all i could get out was like a whisper calling for my dad and broke into tears. My mom was the only one to believe me, she believed the house was tainted but everyone else said i was just imagining it... they can say whatever but I know what i felt and saw...

Then 2 times when i was 16, i would sit in my room and hear whispers from behind me and they kept telling me to "Get out, please go!" They would keep repeating this, almost as though they tried to mock me or somethin... really odd.

 

I have actually had the not being able to move or speak situation i just remember that night i tried for about 30 mins till i can move and after that the whole night i didnt move i just stared into space after that i never went to sleep normally only till i was super sleepy or i drank enough to know i will be sleeping till dawn.

This is not exactly MY ghost story, but heard it from someone:

In the chinatown of Boston, MA -- there's this building that was formerly a funeral parlor many years ago. It went out of business and a restaurant opened there. As expected, no one went to the restaurant because they felt it would be haunted, since it was a funeral parlor before. Needless to say, the restaurant soon went out of business. Currently, a new karaoke bar is built there.

There's this one night, where this "sweeper" (who was an uncle to a friend who told me to this story) was assigned to sweep the karaoke building.. so he goes there at late night when the place closed and no one is around -- it's dead silent. He starts at the basement level (this is where the corpses was stored when it was a funeral parlor) and so he sweeps. All of a sudden, he hears a voice of an old lady, singing fairly quietly of the older generation songs. The "sweeper" freaks the out and RUNS out of the place, quits his job, and NEVER returns there.

You can believe it or not, it's just what I've heard.

ok so we hve a small house an i used to sleep in the living room till my sisters moved out and wel they told me of there exp and id dnt be;ieve them. halloween i think a babys cry woke me up so i looked outside and saw a pram and nothing else it immediatly stopped as i turned my head to go back to sleep and i looked out he window again and there was nothing there

 

i heard that about the bright pearl restaurant tahts y when i was younger i wouldn't go to that washroomm...i was so gullable lol

 

My teacher told me once that you get that feeling of being held down when a ghost is sitting on you. Normally you don't see the ghost and the ghost doesn't see you because it only sees humans as forms of chi. When someone dies and doesn't know it or returns for a reason, they partially stay in the human world and became ghosts. Because they feel cold, they sit on people for warmth. A chinese saying of "being crushed by a ghost".

I don't know. Just what I heard.

 

I think its something got to do with your body under sleep paralysis and then after REM you begin hallucinating.

Well my ghost experience occurred in the hospital. I was visiting my aunt in one night My parents went downstairs to do some paperwork so I stayed in the corridor outside by myself. After a while, this man came up to me. He was quite old; his face was a bit oily and seemed kind of sideways inflated-out-of-proportion, but he didn't say or do anything. But something about him seemed abnormal

I told my parents and the nurses on night shift say that its like that at night.
People die without even knowing and continually roam the place every night. They say they wont harm you if you just mind your own business.
Not sure whether he was just a patient or not though but anyone have had a ghost encounter in the hospital?

 

You got ghost-raped! Yikes!-shock

 

To me ghost is just a human spirit and cannot harm anyone.
It's our feeling that always haunted us.

 

i doesnt have experience happend things KNOCK WOOD its happend on mine friend.

So the story was he went to hong kong to vacation for a week so when he come back to his home. In that time nothing happend but a few days later he got faint out a couple times he couldnt remember what happend the only thing was that he was lying on the floor. Then next day when he was on the pc he faint again and this time he couldnt move but half of him body was control like someone else holding him he even say some ghost around him.Then he past out. That time he even got slimmer and couldnt eat so well. Past out a lot and went to hospital often. His parents though hes sick so dont know what happend with him. But in hospital doctors saying his not normal he must going to physical place ur know i dont remember how it calls so he went with those ppl are crazy living with them. At the end he was getting crazy not about the ghost around him but from the ppl are crazy he almost jump out of the window so bad healty he was. The parents did said this isnt normal calling him out of that place searching ppl for help like monks and some fake ppl they said to drink that or doing that. But at the end they hear a monk some place so they went with airplane to that place and just i dont know but i call it a timing they saw the monks at the airport. The monk just saw mine friend around him and said he was surround with ghost he did saw them. So he did something with a wood swords am not sure about what it was cos its too long time ago he did told me after then he got finally released from the ghost.

And when he told me i shock oh glad i never have see that. It must have soo worse to suffer that time.

But i hear from mine mom he got from hong kong maybe he did got spelled or he went some place in hong kong.
