Other than small roles in ancient series (like Better Halves).. this is Kevin's first big role in an ancient series. I personally do not like him in this series.. Not that his acting skills are normally spectacular, but I think he is esp stiff in this series. I also think the ancient costume makes him look older and he looks almost haggard in this series. What do you think of his performance and do you think he should stick to modern series?

he's better off in modern series...hey but what's with their hairstyle? r they trying to make it look like the characters in storm riders? modern hair style with a ponytail behind ...very funny

lol i think kevin is hott..but i have to say in this series, he looks really bad! lol he has a modern face..and he shud stick with modern movies. and whats with the guys hair??? looks in btwn modern/ancient..lol. but yeah kevin looks old in this movie..well he IS old..but he looks really bad.
I agree with you also. I think he's good in modern series, but whenever I see him in ancient series he automatically loses his charisma. Even my sister who likes him agrees. lol And yuh, what's up with the hairstyles in this series????
OOOH.. I think this is so true.. I don't mind him so much in modern series and he's actually quite likeable and charming.. but in ancient series.. >.< I think this series will stayed warehoused cuz I don't think TVB will want to harm their "true son's" image..
lol yeahh!! and dont u think kevin got a pretty small role?? i mean like look, compared to boscos!! and now kevin is a "son" of tvb and he just won the best actor role..i think he deserved alitto more than this tiny role. lols.
I don't think Kevin looked that bad this series, but he was definitely a little pulled-back on some parts of the drama.. perhaps he needs some more practice on Ancient series that's why his role wasn't as big as Bosco's or Bosco is going to be next best male actor so Bosco's in the starlight.
kevin's acting is usually quite minimal/subtle already...making him act out a character who doesn't talk much is just a bad casting choice...definitely not a good way to promote someone who has just won the best actor award. and his ancient look surely doesn't help his acting, or lack there of in this series
kevin's hairstyle look pretty bad in here, i don't like that it's so shabby and messy. also his facial expressions are sort of unnatural. everything he feels hurt, it seems as if he ate something sour, maybe this role doesn't match him. but i think he does better in other modern series.
