I am 22 myself. (considers myself very young and yet I've read 99% of the posts/reponses to be written by 12-15 year olds. Is that what's been really going on here? If so, I'll just stop going to this section period.) I am looking for a place where people really do share their experiences from past and present relationships in order to help others maintain their own or help their approach to possible partners?) By the responses that I've read so far, either people aren't taking problems seriously (I've realized that some of you are just there to poke fun of any situation possible. It's really not a comedy club here. That should go under rants) I am just doing a general survey here. Pls truthfully list your age. I know some folks are probably 16 or 17...don't be shy. Some females might even be 30+...it's the diversity of such forums which will help generate different viewpoints through life experiences. That in turn will honestly help everyone. I don't consider an expert in relationships at all. Actually I've been a failure in that side most of my life. I've set up quite a few couples together but never successful in actually keeping a relationship myself. However, I do know a thing or two about laws of attraction, methods to strike conversations, adjust your style depending on the person and their body language. I am a terribly analytical person. If I am on a date about someone, I'd always have a good time or pretend I am having one while I disect every movement and word from my date while adjust to it. I do read a ton of news and a lot of misc. information so I can bring out topics of the other person's interests and start talking about them while putting out a tease or two along the way. After a while, it has become almost an art form. I do purposely once in a while slip up a bit or show some side of my real personality to show that I am also human. Since I have no siblings, there's no one for me to pass this on to. That seems to be what I am good at and that's it. If you're a guy and looking to get laid, I might be able to help you. I myself seriously need help in finding a person I truely love and then maintaining it. Not just some pretty face I can woo in a bar/club, Karoake, weddings, dinners and dates. Once I get to a woman's heart...I almost lose interest and move on....it's rather sad. I've been really selective too. Once my greatest gift, now it seems to me like it's a curse. Then when I shop in malls or boutiques and watch loving couples....I say to myself..."this could be me...why couldn't I be?" In reality, I just can't. I am a financial kinda guy who weighs in the time I am willing to put in and the kinda love, I'd get in return.

wow so many 22's here i'm 22 as well. I only post advice here because it also helps me with my own problems in relationships, i like reading and discussing things in this section because i learn more about other people's perspectives etc. But yeah there are a lot of dumb/jokes comments made here but after all this is the internet, people should really be selective in taking some of the advices given here and learn whats good for them and what is not suitable for their problems. For example in wolf's thread, a whole ton of advice was given and when Wolf took some in and things didn't work out, there were some people saying that the people that gave wolf advise were wrong, rubbish etc when really it was up to him to take what he thinks he should need, its all part of the learning process, learning from mistakes etc.
Wow, you wore your heart on your sleeve, there. I found PA to be a very young (by that I mean REALLY young) oriented forum, which is new to me. Being my age, I either feel 1) very ancient because my same-age friends are all age-conscious about it or; 2) quite young as other friends who are older are all in a job and such while I am still in school. As for finding a relationship, nothing wrong with being selective, I guess you just have to invest some time to try out a relationship -- consider them sunk cost, but you do have to invest before you receive any dividends, per se
