why do chinese people see you in the street and they start starring

hi ppl i live in london

i always wonder y every tym i walk past chinese ppl they will start starring at me for some reason, its not like i had anything on my face or theres somethink wrong wiv me. the facts is that they proper stare at you for longgggggg. which sometimes creeps me out.

any1 have the same problem????

i'm Chinese too and a proud one. I do not stare at people. Not all Chinese stare at other Chinese, so don't generalize that Chinese stares.

asian..i dunno if ther like chiense or not..but
they start staring...its scary...but when i went
to hk its more scary..ther like...crazy eyes flying

i think when Asians from western countries go to Asian countries, you'll get stared at. And i think the reason is because of the physical size and of course the shortness of the skirts. what we consider to be ideal weight is gigantic to the Asian countries people. and what we consider sexy here, they see it as "fatt hau"

If they stare, just say hi or say sup. I have no problems with stares. I like stares, it means they can't get enough of you.

B/c there probably hardly any chinese people at where you live or where you go.

 

probably they are figuring if you are of their acquaintance.
I always respond with a small nod and smile.

 

Wow, seems like you guys have lots of time? In countries where it is very fast-paced, ppl are more focused on getting to their next destination and watching the road and mind that they don't fall down or sth.
