I'd probably be lying if I said it doesn't matter, but to be honest, the car doesn't need to be one of the greatest as long as it can safely transport us from A to B.
I think it doesn't reli matter unless the place you live in is so huge or so lack of public transport that you really need a car. And I think if a guy doesn't get a car, he probably has some reasons. Car is a liability. Buying one for the sake of having one while using credit is dumb in my opinion.. n I wouldn't wan a guy like that. Edit: But sometimes the occasion might require. E.g if you are all dressed up for some dinner, you wouldn't wanna take a bus or sth. But there is always a cab. Taking cab to work can be cheaper where I live depending how often and how far you travel daily. So y not?
I would say that it's a plus, not a determining factor. But that's my perspective on things. Every girl's different. Of course it'd be better if he had a nice car to drive the both of them around town in, but if the girl really liked the guy, she wouldn't care too much.
let me ask you guys a question, what if your girl/boyfriend's car is beater and it keeps stalling? she/he has a shitty car and it sometime works, would you go out with her/him? also gas doesn't come cheap if expect to get chauffered around. To me it doesn't matter if the person has a car or not, it's easy to get around the city. i live in canada, a sometimes driving, is frusturating because there so many bad drivers out there.
Every girl is different, yes. But they also have a lot of similar traits. Like not wanting to wait around for the bus in their high heels and dress. For the majority of girls, it's looks > car > how much you're willing to spend on them > everything else
Lol... this thread just remenbered me of a movie... main girl didn´t like the protagonist because he didn´t have a car and dressed poorly... the thing was that the guy had an helicopter, the license to fly and knew how to fly... besides many millions of dollars... but hey he didn´t have a car and dressed poorly that´s enought of a reason to dislike someone (hahaha).... what a shame... anyway i don´t think car is such an important thing, i can´t afford one cause i´m an university student, but i will get one someday so if a girl declines me because i don´t have a car... that is kinda lame....
I kind of suspect that even though I wouldn't choose someone because he has/without a car, but I will try to avoid guys who couldn't take care of his own things (beater car) -- he can NOT have a car, but he CANNOT have an unreliable car.
why does it matter to have a car? if you like your partner, doesn't matter where you hang out, it's still fun... my theory at least.
Definately NO Gurls nowadays r in my personal opinion realistic. So u can put it in a way that ur chances r higher if u own a CAR

Her - "THAT's sooooooooooooo hot." I don't know about you, but before I ask a girl out, I make sure that I have the necessities and ability to provide for transportation. It's pretty lame to be dating a girl and expecting her to drive you every where, or find her own ride every time you go out on a date.
Well I meant if you're like 18 and under... I guess you're fine without a car I mean it's understandable... but then if you're going for a decent relationship or long term... without a car is like going out with someone who can't afford you for a movie... how the hell are you suppose to get around...>.<

I don't care if the guy has a car as long as I still have mine. He can play with my car and drive me around. LoL I hate driving in yucky houston traffic. :/
