People often say that love ends at marriage, the rest is just commitment. Do you agree? If given a choice, will you wanna get married? It is often not a choice.. due to social and family pressure. Marriage is seen as a stage in life. But.. If given a choice, will you wanna get married?
As someone who is happily married, I feel that love doesn't end with marriage. It changes and augments through time. The love that most people experience before marriage is often infatuation at first, then complacency of having the companion around. After marriage though, that love bond is sealed and often becomes stronger. There may not be as much flare in the relationship as compared to the beginning, however the devotion of one spouse to the other often deepens and is shown through different actions. For example, during infactuation one may buy flowers, chocolates, think of creative crafty gifts for their companions, have passionate sex at adventurous locations. After marriage, it may be one spouse sacrificing time to help the other spouse further their careers, taking care of all the household chores to make the house comfortable for their partner when they come home from work, cooking food for the other person because they are too busy to make their own meals. There are different ways to show one's love and depending on the stage of the relationship, they are manifested very differently; but definitely love is not dead after marriage. One just needs to open his eyes to see and appreciate that less conspicious love.
Only with the right one ofcourse. For the social securities but otherwise, if you're strong enough to handle life on your own and are not afraid to be independant, why should you marry? (I know some will say: otherwise you'll miss out all the wedding banquets, money and jewelleries your family/relatives will give you if you don't get married...)
Yeah, I wanna get married too... If you find the right person and you wanna spend the rest of your life with him... It's not like because of pressure from others... In my eyes a marriage is a beautiful thing. It's like letting the world know that you have found "the one" and showing everyone else that you wanna be very close to the other like family. Call me old fashioned but I wanna get married before I have kids... Also, I love the dress hihi <3

I guess marriage is a good thing cuz u know that u've chosen someone u that brings happiness to each another. Now a days ppl rather just date because marriage could also get complicated. Some ppl gets married cuz its a lazy way to be taken care of or even for money reasons. But for commitment, i'll say 99% of ppl will cheat on their significant other, just cuz i think ppl just enjoys the thrill, excitement, or whateva makes them happy.
