Why does nobody have any Wii's in stock!!! Everyone has PS3's in stock, but I want a Wii. Come on, who doesn't want a Wii. LOL
Yeah, we have a PS3 in my apartment, and it's a big paperweight. I'm telling my cousin to trade it in and get a Wii so we could actually play it.
Neighbor has a Wii. He got it 2 weeks ago. His uncle had to drive two hours to another city to pick it up.
the wii was understocked because they thought it wasnt gonna be as successful on its launch date so shops are having trouble in getting stock while the PS3 overstocked cos the bigheads dumbly thought they would do better than everyone and sell lots of PS3 on launch date. Thats why wii is hard to find while PS3 aint.
Dunno i think until the have fulfilled all the pre-orders they had to delay. I know someone who pre-ordered her Wii and still waiting. But hopefully shops will have stock soon.
u could always try ebay but i don't trust it hehehe luckily they still haf stock around here (so i beleive)
the Wii was not understocked, Nintendo doesn't have the factory capacity to churn out all those consoles... In other words, they bottlenecked themselves, not because they didn't think it would sell well... another reason why Wii's are "out of stock" is because various retail stores like Wal-Mart and Target are holding back their stock, they're waiting to sell them in a large weekend rush hopefully selling plenty of games and accessories at the same time... There are ways to check if your local Target has Wii's in stock, go to the store and enter 207-25-0001(this is an old number, I'm not sure if it works still) into the various price scanners around the store, it will tell you if they have them in stock or not so you can anticipate when to camp for a Wii. As far as when Wii's actually come in stock, Nintendo has promised to keep stocking EVERY week, so expect about 5 Wii's per store and maybe 10 Wii's for the stores with high turnover rates in your area. However, like I said, some stores are hoarding their Wii's till big weekend sales. The PS3 wasn't overstocked either, the system was sold out until late January. Sony has a larger factory capacity, so they can churn out systems quicker. If you think the PS3 has done worse and is trouble, think again. They've sold more PS3's in 4 months than they did PS1 or PS2 in their first 4 months... I have a Wii and at the moment, the Wii sucks... There's only 5 games that's really enjoyable at all... if anything the x360 has the best titles out now, and I don't even own one... Hell I give the PS3 the edge over the Wii right now because atleast the PS3 has Gran Tourismo HD online right now... At the moment, the Wii really is just a novelty item, as of right now anyways...
its all supply and demand..they seee how the demand is increasing so they're gonna limit supplies to stores and increase price
Sigh, Wii is still totally out of stock in my local area (that means GTA, the ENTIRE GTA, for those who know what I am talking about) My housemate has a Wii, but only has 1 Wii mote+ Nunchuck. So after getting the Wii Play as a gift (which comes with a Wii mote) I call multiple stores (BestBuy, Futureshop, Wal-Mart) for a nunchuck. Still out of luck =_=b I don't even see other accessories such as the classic gamepad now... But I have time, still a month til exam's over I am not supposed to start anything new until then :(

well just hold off until u finish all ur work, then start to game =) its not too bad... i still hafn't got mine yet lolz but since friend is overseas, i get to use his in mean time =D plus advantage of waiting a bit, means any problems will get fixed with next batch, and theres more games to choose from =) atleast we'd supposedly get the extra 1mm thick strap =D hahahah
