i dont get it.. your pc & laptop is good enough.. i mean.. since u say cheap pc or laptop.. budget £1000 for what a whole PC? when your AMD PC is good enough. my suggestion upgrade the ram to 2GB. it might help u improve your gaming, or defrag your harddrive, run spybot, or format your PC( much improvement)
I don't understand you ? The 2 specs above, is that what you have right now ? And you want to sell the 2 above + spend £1000 to invest in a new gaming PC AND a laptop ? -rolleyes
i dont get it when he want it cheap and want it fast.. cheap and good can't not goes together. Your cpu AMD x2 dual core processor not sure what speed but it is dual core so it is good already . 1gb ram <<<Upgrade to 2GB. 250gb hdd <<u probably haven't defrag. 7600 gs nvidia g << isn't this video card fast enough to play most newest game? if not go sue Nvidia.
thanks for the advice guy my pc was only £600 n atm is kinder laggin n crashing alot yeah maybe i should try sticking athor 1gb ram in it 7600gs nvidia support all games BUT its lags n makes the games looks rubbish like Rainbow 6 Vegas n BF2 sooo slow ah!!!!!!!!!!! plus im planning to get Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 n that game u need a good pc to run it, it should support it but on exteme low graphics setting where the graphics look blocky n crap>.< ok then how about wat kind of spec can i get for £1000 laptop the laptop i got now sucks badly BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH ALL DA TIME IN GUILDWARS N CSS LAGS ALL THE WAY HELP
with Vista you need at least 2 GB RAM XP should be fine with 1 GB, but of course more is better. Check the services that are runnning and disable everything that's not needed. if you need a new PC or Laptop I would recommend buying at Dell Outlet. Spend a bit of time there and you can save £xxx Stock changes daily so it's a bit lucky dip I saw this PC at Dell Outlet right now it's £970 inc VAT and delivery -sweat just the tower no monitor included. Dimension XPS 710 (System Identifier. 0GELX15W) Core 2 Duo Processor E6600 (2.40GHz, 1066FSB, 4MB cache) £200 2 * 1024 MB £200 2 * 250 SATA £150 1 * 1GB Nvidia Geforce7950GX2 £400 Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme music card DVD+/-RW Reader 16x Dual Drive DVD-ROM Reader 16x max that's about £400-500 savings from if normally bought at dell. http://www.driverheaven.net/reviews/GX2/ or check out Dell Outlet on ebay http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Dell-Outlet of course there are cheaper PCs at around £400-500
yea.Dell is a good choice if you just need a computer. They have great prices too with coupons. They have great customer service too. Usually they ship u a replacement part in like 2 days if theres something wrong with ur pc.
just find out wat u want/need search around for prices sell off ur current system if u want build it urself read up on overclocking if u don't know much abt it, or ask friends who know how to (essentially "free" performance, but theres always other factors) probably need a better cooler etc i'd say ur cpu is fine just upgrade extra ram as every1 else has said to 2gb (if u wanna o/c, get a decent brand that has been known to o/c well) hdd isn't going to make any difference (unless u want to get faster rpm, minimal difference that u'd notice i'd say) vga card is the only other factor, just see wats within budget of course, just do a fresh install of win xp, u'll notice some difference without all the junk u don't need. plus the random other stuff u can reuse, eg keyboard, mouse, monitor, tower
Holy crap that's like 2000 U.S. dollars. You can buy whatever machine with that money. i would suggest a ibm thinkpad for it's quality but it's a bit pricier than other brands.
