Hey people, i was just wondering what the secret to healthy skin and hair is. I see all these chinese/japanese/korean (especially korean) people in movies and in normal day life and they all have gorgeous skin tones. They dont even wear make-up and still they look good!!! Their hair is so shiny, strong and straight and they dont have bald patches. IM SO JEALEOUS!!!! WHATS YOUR SECRET!!!!!!! LOL Im an asian dude n my skin is totally mesed up. I have very dry skin so i have to put cream on always otherwise my skin would have dry patches. BUT if i do put on cream, my skin always becomes oily and i hate that!!! I need help people. Especially from the girls. Im sure you do something that makes you all look so gorgeous all the time. My hair is another problem. My hair falls out all the time (Maybe cause i use hair gell) but if dont use hair gell, my hair goes all dry and it looks really stupid. I like to have my hair spiked up. Thats the only thing that suits me, otherwise i look like an IDIOT!!! Some help from the guys: Do you use straighteners to keep your hair up??? I dont know if guys do??? I use Fructis Garnier shampoo by the way. If you wanted to know. P.S. Could all this be because i dont drink enough water???
First, sorry to burst your bubble, but whatever you see on your computer monitor does not come naturally -- it take LOADS of make-up to look that clean and have even skin tone for most people. The camera is a cruel thing. And in real life? You need a very particular diet to achieve that, plus work out and sleep. As a general rule, healthy living habit and a balanced diet gives you the best chance to have naturally healthy skin and hair (and immune system too) - sleep well and early, staying up at night screws up your skin tone and allow blemishes to come and stay for good - work out, get your metabolism up - have a haircut that doesn't REQUIRE spiking for a while, use leave-in conditioner - try another brand of moisturizer -- there are plenty of brands that have oil-free lines - and be sure not to touch your face too much, that promotes oil secretion - wash your face if necessary (but put on moisturizer afterwards) - drink lots of water, at least 2L a day = 8 glasses
I use fructis as well... but after i used that shampoo i use a conditioner from loreal. After I blow dried my hair I put in some stuff in my hair to make it feel/look silky... Stuff thats healthy for my hair... I almost never use hairspray and stuff like that... cuz i like it Hiake is right... the people on tv all wear make up... EVEN THE GUYS For smooth skin... its very important to wash your face every night with facewash and put cream on ur face afterwards. In the morning after you washed ur face u put some cream on it again... Drink lots of water, dont eat too much meat (fish instead), not too many fried things and eat 2 pieces of fruit everyday...
this is a really useful topic cause i got bad skin and hair. my hair keeps shrinking as well. guess its hairloss :( aww shiet, dont wanna get bald soon
For leave-on hair conditioner, I was told that olive oil make a all-natural alternative, but you will need to wash it out before you go to bed, otherwise it may cause break-outs.
what do you mean try shampoo? thought everyone uses shampoo to wash their hair? i think i should try some herbal shampoo cause i heard it works best if your hair keeps falling off.
In fact, I've read books about not washing hair with shampoo every time you wash your hair. It had been suggested that it's healthier to have 3 shampoo washes per week than 7 shampoo washes per week... Use wash your hair and use conditioner, it helps immensely. Oh that and don't use too-hot water to wash your hair, it dries your scalp (and in turn, the hair).
@ I mean SPECIAL shampoooooo @ Hiake.... Oh the one i use... is like cream for ur hair... ur not suppose to wash it out... I have heard about olive oil as well... but its too smelly... and makes ur hair look greasy
^ You don't put too much in... =_=b Just a bit and it's a desperate measure for extra-dry hair. And the smell disappears quickly -- others wouldn't smell it, only you will because you are surrounded by it.
^ Which is something I never bother doing =_=b only tried it once, never see it results (of course, things rarely improve on first tries) so I didn't recommend it. But I bet it's good.
Hahaha.... Dont have the perfect hair... I dyed too many times.. and i wanna get a perm... so... probably be bold in a few years haha
lol i actually never seen a bald asian girl in my life before. you can always wear a hat when your bald some girls looks pretty smexy in hats.
I love hatsss <3 But dont wear them too often... my face is pretty round i think... so not all hats look good on me :(
@ MissAngieCheeks> Do you have thin and fine hair to begin with?? You won't get bald, no worries, since most of us don't get to do outrageous things to our hair when you get older and starts working... School days are like the experimental platinum blonde era of hair-colouring and styling.
My hair is not so thin... but people say i have a lot of hair... Hehehe...i just wanna get a perm cuz I wanna try something new and wanna look older... I am a trainee now at some company... and I look so young compared the others... I want to look older... but not too old of course...
^ Just pull it into a french twist or something. Plus, dress conservatively with a fresh face look young yet professional The whole perm look was totally overdone by now.
Haha yeahhh... I bought lots of clothes here to wear at the office... I am so overdressed for a shitty intern haha Im not getting like everything done... just wanna have it like korean girls have it... it looks cool... been wanting to do it before... but hairdressers in NL suck and im gonna have it done by koreans here
