I wanted to watch this series mainly because of Benny Chan since I hadn't seem him in a series for a while, but so far Steven Ma is stealing the spotlight. Steven's character is quite funny. Though he can be really stupid and blind sometimes (like when the grandma scams him) he can come up with lots of ideas to bug Yuen Wah's char lol. I was kinda expecting Shirley to be Yuen Wah's daughter since I didn't expect that other girl (dunno her name) the have much of a role other than support. Maybe her role still isn't important. The plot is kinda random right now. Hopping back and forth from the palace to 'cheurn zhou'. It's enjoyable to watch but leaves me with an empty feeling somehow.
Yeah, I know what you mean. Like you have no idea where they're going with this, right? Oh, by the way, that 'other girl' xD is Selina Li. She's okay, but I think she's going to be a main role in this; since she's on the poster, but I'm not sure. Steven's character is pretty funny. I wonder if Yuen Wah's going to take him as a pupil or something, teach him how to read the Pictures things xD I don't know what to call them. I'm looking forward to seeing what's going to happen... -lol
Yea, I think that's the feeling since there were no flash backs and the characters haven't really revealed their life goals. The girl with the same jade charm thing as Yuen Wah isn't Selena Li though. Selena Li hasn't showed up yet I don't think unless she was one of the other 4 'sit dan' girls that I didn't notice. I only paid attention to Shirley and that girl with the same jade charm as Yuen Wah. I just googled the cast and looked at the pics, but I can't identify her still!
its still early, slowly slowly everythin will fall into place, then this person wil know that person, and the person, duno she like that person. most of the stories also like this. then we begin to see the true colours of individual character.
Alot of things still arent that clear yet. I still think its possible that the girl with the jade might not be Yuen Wah's daughter.. One thing i dont really understand is how these scrolls are suppose to forsee the future.. i mean how do they now when "page 17" relates to the event that is happening its not like it has a date written on it lol. Anyway, i look forward to see how the plot develops
Yeah prophets from every culture are like that. They have these really general phrases/puzzles/pics and leave it up to people to interpret. It's quite fascinating how imaginative people are. I remember seeing a documentary on Nostradamus on Discovery some time ago.
i never really Benny's acting much.. and still haven't.. all he ever did roles are like those of an annoying brat. Steven's is Ok in this film.. nothing new on his part though
i love steven and benny's acting. i can't believe they are actually collaborating in a series. it was funny in episode 2 when steven was like i want to change my life since their birthdates were like the same as benny's. i think both steven and benn'ys name in the series is catchy, yuen hei and yip yerng...they're in "cho zhou" and steven is pretty smart to have figured out the riddle in the "tou bui to" and help yuen wah find it out, only to show that it was the yellow river flooding xD
It starts to get interesting in episode 3 with the other female character appearing and a murder mystery
Yeah, this show is really starting to progress. I think that other feng shui guy killed the old man because he was saying how it was Yeun and Steven. I think he wants to ruin their reputation...
I was expecting more from Benny Chan in the first couple episodes but Steven Ma stole the spotlight. His character is quite funnier than Benny's. Yuen Wah is enjoyable to watch too. I don't really kno what's going on plotwise though. It seems kinda random lol.
although steven stolen the spotlight for the first few eposides, i am sure benny is going be doing something big later on. i don't have a preference for either actors, but kinda find benny's role kinda annoying considering that he is playing a spoiled son.
oh my god a new serieof benny. it's been so long since i saw him. i had heard he get fire by tvb, so i was very sad then. but guess it is just rumours. does anyone know what the serie is about?
It's about foretelling the future and stuff like that. Pretty good, for now, I think... recommended from me! ^_^ (although I'm not anyone important xD) -lol
This series is actually semi-interesting for the most part. And Benny Chan is in it <3 I've been waiting for Selena Li to come back on screen. Ever since her performance in Face to Fate =o And Yuen Wah is awesome. I've always loved his acting. xD Steven's voice is pretty good in the Themesong :3
I'm just wondering what's Benny Chan's role in the story... apparently his father in the movie hates the emperor.. maybe he's royalty.. and what about the Yuan family that helped with the "Tuei pui tou" with the Lee family...
