I was approached by like 7 black guys in hoodies too like 7-8 years ago. I was in grade 7 then and was walking home from school at like 4p.m on a rainy afternoon. They only got off with $10 Cdn and some change lol. I think they had fun splitting it. lol

My younger brother was with me and he was in grade 2 at the time. They didn't even frisk him for anything. Perhaps he was carrying more than I was (no he wasn't but yeah, such careless thieves)!

It was a really odd situation. I never called the cops though it would not have been wrong to. Perhaps I was a bit shocked then, but I was young and it was so little money.
