Heh, I somehow manage to be late quite often when I have an appointment with certain friends and with others I'm always on time and I don't do that on purpose! It's NOT like 'oh I don't like this person, so I'll show up later' but it just happens. There's always a bridge going open when you're in a hurry or the tram had an accident and blocking the road etc. But I'll always give people a call to let them know I'm running late. But I'm always on time with the other half of my appointments with friends and I can't get angry of them as they too will give me a call. To pass the time it depends on how long I have to wait and will go shopping or do other things first. And err, I can always pop in one of the many buildings of my uni in the city with free internet acces for students. -cool
I have that problem as well because I hate being late - but for friends I know are always late I tell them to meet half an hour earlier than the time I aim to get there for. But I would normally pass the time by listening to my mp3 or walk about window shopping
^ I AM psychotic. The point and laugh part applies to "observing people" too if you don't worry about getting odd looks or beaten up.
tips to pass time: 1. read 2. hit on the girls (or boys) around the vincity 3. surf the web on ur blackberry 4. repond to emails on ur blackberry 5. flirt on aim on ur blackberry 6. make some calls on ur blackberry for later dates 7. don't be early to the appointment if this person is always late. 8. don't meet with ppl that are always late.
i pass my time by watching dramas, looking for songs 2 download and also playing games such as Mario Kart. it helps,
hum... im usally the one that ..... but i notice my friends kinda already know ima be late so they eitehr tell me a earlyer time so im on time..... or they just show up a lil bit later ... ive been late so often they kinda already know im usally like 15 min late unless we make it stated .... "no lag"
do you happen to know anything about the RIM law suit in the USA? and i think about of 300 people in my town will you MAYBE see one Blackberry here they just aren't popular here
the most common thing to do would be listen to your mp3, if you brought one. I like to watch people who passes by and their behavior...
listen to music, play online flash games, clean up your room, watch tv movies shoot ball visit some fam or friends, go out for a walk... eat some fruit
