Watch ur friends change right in front ur eyes! Have u ever been in a situation where ur friend becomes Dr. Jackle and Mr Hyde right in front of ur eyes? She/he hits the road and gets cut off and suddenly spawns into this manic indiv? Or is that you>
it's simple really... don't get cut off idiot <_< I know its impossible to not get cut off ever, because there are crazy people out there who will do the impossible going 85mph... but if they're getting cut off consistently and are getting pissed off enough for you to notice... that person just can't drive worth crap... seriously if u get cut off one of two things are happening... either ur too bloody slow, in which case get off the fast lane like a smart driver, swallow ur pride and let the faster drivers go... or ur driving in a Nascar race... in which case I salute you for being a bigger idiot for driving in circles... /gg
tht's the description of me by a lot of my friends, but i think i just have an avg level of road rage after driving for a long time
I guess the slow drivers is to blame. When the rest of the world drive 100kmph on a highway, driving 80 is NOT SAFE.
yeh its quite funny, when my friend gets road rage, but its all understandable, plenty of people who drive like idiots out there
I have my road rage pretty much under control, unless someone does something really stupid like not looking and trying to switch lanes while I'm in their blindspot.
i cant already tell ur underage to drive or don't have a car. plenty of ppl will cut you off. or mayb you live in a small town and never had that happen to u because everyone is just nice as a daisy.
my ex bf never drove for more than 15 without swearing at other drivers... he said there r only 2 types of ppl on the road... the slow idiots blocking his way and the a$$holes faster than him...
driving actually increases rage in individuals who arent usually angry. Its cuz there is a sense of anonymity with other drivers, and you begin to think that everything other drivers are doing is a direct insult to you.
heh and ur full of crap... I'm 20, I have my own car, where I live doesn't concern you, all you need to know is that I live in a metropolis where the majority of the drivers don't know how to merge lanes, let alone have to deal with getting cut off... the difference between getting cut off and driving too slow is how often it happens... if ur getting "cut off" enough times to have ur friends notice... guess what? ur too damn slow... choose a slower lane... and before you dare question my driving skills, or tell me that I'm young and don't know sh*t about driving lemme ask you... why are u talking about ur friend's driving and not ur own? it's easy to criticise others, but what about you? I'm not saying I've never been cut off... because fact is, I have... but it's rare because I try not to get into a position where idiots feel the need to cut me off... i actually use my mirrors to see cars speeding up behind me... u know those things on the sides of the car that lets u see behind you, and the lanes to the side, and the one inside the car above ur head... yeah those things help you a lot even when ur not trying to back out of ur driveway or parallel park... I dunno how ur friend drives, but even if i'm talking to friends in the car I'm always checking my mirrors... there's never a dull moment when driving SO PAY THE F**KING ATTENTION... not just in front of you, but ALL AROUND YOU-noclue
Firstly, you are young, so you're 20, you been driving for what? 3 years? 2 years? Probably still on probation in fact. Secondly read the post properly, I never mentioned me personally getting cut off all the time or even my friend getting cut off all the time. Next I never criticise anyone's driving. I simply proposed a suggestion. I wouldn't so proudly claim that I am from a Metropolis area, if indeed your roads are made out of 1-2 lane roads and toll highways. In America, there's FREEWAYS everywhere, and wow, yes 5-8 lane roads! WOAH! Now it looks like i have to give u a little lesson in english as well, getting cut off refers to a car in a lane other than yours coming suddenly into your lane in front of you, so your little mirrors on the side of your little car doesn't really apply to this discussion. What you are refering to is a car over-taking you. And please don't swear I believe its against the policy here.
Support his ignorance, bad english or low comprehension? I can't tell. and yes go on, you can call the admin but that would mean you too have to stick to the topic and not post useless comments that don't contribute to the discussion =D
probation? we get our license here at 16(15 1/2 for some), "probation" ends at 18... so that'd mean i've been driving for about 5 years now... secondly ur damn "suggestion" implies that you are criticizing ur friend's driving, a question like this doesn't just suddenly appear, there's gotta be a reason behind it... the details of ur suggestion implies greatly that u would have a friend that has road rage... or you have a serious case of road rage... again u don't need to know where I live, speaking condescendingly to me just because u have 8 lanes, whoopdee!, means nothing... whether ur driving on 1 lane or 20 lanes the damn laws still apply... now lemme give u a driving lesson o wise a**... how does a car get in front of you to cut you off? why on gods green earth would someone cut you off if they were in front of you to begin with? the car would have to be, at some point, behind you or beside you... therefore your point is moot... having said that, yes there are times cars in front of you cut you off, but at those times you shouldn't be moving fast enough for it to be a problem... usually under heavy traffic or in residential areas or driving in the city... and again i shall point out, that ur statement is moot... and furthermore by the off chance that you do get cut off by a car in front of you while ur going at a higher pace... well like I said... there's always those idiots that don't know wtf they're doing... seriously that's only happened to me once in 5 years... so i reiterate, that if this is a common occurance, ur just TOO DAMN SLOW... and hell... where am I swearing? since when are astersiks swearing?... u sir have a dirty mind if u think i'm swearing... i just like asterisks... so F*** off... again u may use ur imagination of what those asterisks maybe, and unless u can prove that i'm swearing... I don't see where i'm in the wrong... o and btw... in America... there are not Freeways EVERYWHERE... you have to be pretty dense to think America is connected by L.A. style mazes coast to coast... 90% of interstate highway are one or two lanes! GO FIGURE! generalization sucks don't it?
i never contacted the admin, ignorant prick. u just happened to step on a few too many toes, and got in trouble. don't put the blame on me. i want to support him, wat r u gonna do about it. and in case u want to report me, my two cent on road rage, yeah i have it. i deal with the gardiner everyday, road rage comes naturally
Firstly my discussion was on have u seen ppl experience road rage. Secondly when i say or is it you> , its a rhetorical question. Your question "how does a car get in front of you to cut you off? why on gods green earth would someone cut you off if they were in front of you to begin with?"That's the whole point of this discussion. a real big jerk or ass would cut you off so rudely. I never said it was normal. That's why people have road rage! DUH!! Do i have to explain everything to you? Of cos the same damn laws apply to driving, that's y its called cutting you off, its rude, uncalled for and done for no apparent reason. And yes Einstein, the car is behind you as i explained. JUST IN THE LANES OVER! Not directly behind you in YOUR LANE? Some times they may be a car ahead of you in the lane over but really too close to make a lane change but they do anyway. sigh... i think you either have to read more carefully or take some eng classes to improve on your comprehension level in reading. "you shouldn't be moving fast enough for it to be a problem... usually under heavy traffic or in residential areas or driving in the city" you are either ignorant or very very naive. this happens all the time, its called accidents or sometimes you hit the breaks just in time and hence, road rage. "seriously that's only happened to me once in 5 years" hence the small town you are from. big city ppl arent as polite drivers "L.A. style mazes coast to coast... 90% of interstate highway are one or two lanes" correct, but i don't live there now do i? I assume ppl in the midwest also like you have fewer incidence of ppl cutting them off lastly, you can use astrieks all you want. i will assume its just your maturity lvl, lack of better response, or lack of intelligence, or ur keyboard is bad =) Note to leelee: my two cent on road rage, yeah i have it. i deal with the gardiner everyday, road rage comes naturally this response means you are not supporting aoes as he doesn't believe in road rage since everyone is polite in the lala land he is from and no one EVER cuts some one off for NO REASON. Also when trying to serve an insult back to someone, don't use their words back i.e. ignorant. Makes you sound stupid and ignorant and it makes it appear like you have a low vocab as well
firstly, if your side mirrors can see more than one lane over, than i am impressed. Ppl that have rude behaviors doesn't always come from just one lane over, hence making my statement on 8lane roads and your smaller 2 lane roads applicable. see the point now? next ppl cut u off for no reason all the time and i am tired of explaining this over and over to u. you just dont get it i guess. Please just educate yourself and stop this embarrasing rant of yours: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Road_rage speed limit in countries other than yours are much higher? So even driving the speed limit makes it dangerous when someone cuts you off, once again I am not talking abt being overtaken. just because u have never had an accident is no indication of the quality of driver you are. ppl in small towns with fewer cars always have lower accident rates in comparison to big city ppl. "seriously that's only happened to me once in 5 years" hence the small town you are from. big city ppl arent as polite drivers again, u have no clue where I live, all you're doing is making a fool of urself now... you are right i have no clue cos u are obviously too embarrassed to say it. but i am not making a fool of myself cos i am simply enlightening you that not all drivers are as polite as you think. its wonderful that you are so naive and simple to think so, but you will see a big city with fast inconsiderate drivers one day, or mayb you won't and i think you prob would be better off not experiencing it anyway. "and now ur just finding ways to insult me with wit... or lack there of..." just pointing out the obvious actually. lastly i dont see how anything i see is moot, just because you say it is, looks like to me you just run out of a comeback and keep typing moot, like a cow going moo =D
lol.. you peeps are having PA rage more than anything else.. anyway, this is my take of the issue: To me, getting cut off doesn't have to be as described by you. A car can be directly behind you, overtake, and cut in front of you. I call that getting cut off too. As long as a car comes from behind and cuts infront of you suddenly.. it qualifies as cutting off.. thats my stand And it happens for thousand and one reasons. The driver infront could be just slow, the driver behind could be having a bad mood.. whatever. Yea.. and I do have friends who go crazy from getting cut off. One of them gets really pissed when it happens and he will cut the driver back, drive beside the car and suddenly swerve in the other driver's direction.. and it really is kinda scary sitting in a car like that..
