Well, unfortunatly, it is the truth. In U, you can do what you want, but in a big company.
You will bump up to many things that you need to take care of besides work

I just want to say that you need to prepare yourself for the world outside U.
In U it is all about theory, but in the big companies it is all about practical things.

lol, I was actually only joking about the whole housewife thing. [IMG] Personally, I wouldn't really enjoy being in that kind of position.

I mean, it wouldn't make sense for me (speaking for myself, here) to spend 8+ years of my life in college to get a degree and pursue a career, only to quit after a few years. Plus, I don't particularly like the idea of me being completely dependant upon my spouse for financial support. Divorce rates ARE on the rise, you know. [IMG] But even if money were not an issue, I don't think I could deal with the boredom that comes with staying at home.

Though I do feel that this has more to do with personal choice than anything else, and also whatever works for you, as not everyone is given the same options.

Well, that would depend on whether they consider it to be an "advantage" or not, to start with. [IMG]

Personally, I think society puts too much pressure on the woman to be a good mother by spending time with the kids at home. Gender shouldn't be the deciding factor for who stays home and who works.

Good idea. You can start it [IMG]
