I'm just curious of what brand printers you PA folk are using.
The printers I use are from HP and Epson.
How about you? If you do the poll, you can check more than 1 option if needed.

I recently bought me a multifunctional printer, the HP C7180. It's a printer, copier, scanner and fax in one. Here comes the good part. Besides these features, it got:
    - Bluetooth
    - Wifi
    - Large LCD
    - It tests and recognize HP paper
    - 32 pages per min

Thusfar, I haven't seen any brand with the same features.
BTW the HP C6170 has almost the same features.

I've got an OLD, ancient even, Panasonic PX-7100. Laser, duplex (still don't see that being common among printers on the market now), and pretty much do whatever I wanted a printer do.

The catch was, it's kind of difficult to get the toner (as it's not a common brand). But it's much better than some of the Samsung and HP laser printer I've used.

I also have an HP printer. It's a few years old, but still prints fabulously. It also came with a duplex printing accessory, but I didn't install it because it added on a good 6 inches to the depth of the printer.

At the time that I bought my printer, HP and Epson were the brands that graphics pros said to go with, but I decided on HP for one very important reason: it prints a "true gray", ie. when you print something gray, instead of printing black dots spaced farther apart to simulate gray (as my previous Epson printer did), it actually mixes colors to create all of the various shades of gray that you could possibly need.

Got an HP printer pretty decent just that it cost an arm and leg to buy new ink

^ Not sure, but Epson and HP got the majority of the inkjet market share don't they?

It's an inktjet printer, but the inkt is pigment based. So it will not fade.
The prices are different per country due to market price segmentation.
I guess it will be much cheaper in SG.
You can always talk about the price in Asia.
Here in EU, it is almost impossible.

Canon is good, but the price per print is too high.
Please note: Epson and Canon use a technology where the printhead is not replaced.
HP uses a technology where the printhead is on the cartridge it self.
So replacing cartridge is replacing printhead

As far as I know HP is the marketleader. But the Japanese brands are gaining market share very fast
