yea.. watched it. Totally portrayed the negative side of what plastic surgery can be.. the question of identity..

well.. cos you might regret? Its not just about the money. Of cos that is a prerequisite.. but its not definitely not the only factor

y does ppl do plastic surgery when they noe that it'll harm them in the future? isn't kind of stupid. i mean look @ ayumi hamasaki (jap singer). my mom said she looks beautiful before she had plastic surgerys. (i think it was her high skool years). aniways, i thought ppl have plastic surgeries becauz they're not "pretty" enough 2 show off in front of guys.

I guess I am just chicken from under the scapel, can't blame people who think they should look more beautiful. Though I highly recommend visiting a psychaitrist before doing anything drastic.

It's not unlike eating disorder, plastic surgery. Once you get the first op done, you are bound to think "I may as well fix this too..."... and it never ends.

It wasn't really a big issue back then. But yeah Korea is starting to really trend on plastic surgery. I had some friends who went back for three weeks to Korea. When they came back they were dying to go back to get plastic surgery. I think singers like Rain are good examples to mediate the hype lol.

^ haha.. its a comedy.. so its kinda happy ending. But watch Time. Total opposite.

btw, its not the pastic surgery that finally helped her gain confidence. It was the acceptance of her old self that actually did the job. And there were other negative effects of the surgery that were brought across in a funny way.. such as the breasts and butt that can't be touched. So hope you dun go away with the impression that surgery is all good and no bad :)

Don't east asians have one fold eye lids unlike Europeans? I've never of Koreans liking plastic surgery though.

i heard that it's like a becoming of age thing for koreans. when they reach the age of say 21, their parents would give them a sum of money for them to go under the knife for wherever they want to change...

^ Um, most Korean girls I know (personally, not talking about stars and actresses) are quite obsessed with beauty... they always walk out of the house at THEIR MOST GLAMOUROUS. But I guess the rest of us just don't bother =_=b

lol.. no la.. its just quite a weird movie. And you can experience the loneliness in the characters and although its all very extreme.. they seem possible and bizarre at the same type. lol.. watch it if possible.. you will get what I mean

Mmmm i saw this magazine article once talking about how 9 out of 10 girls in korea have plastic surgery, hmm... what happens when they get one of them get married and her children look nothing like her husband or her surgerised face? I wonder if her husband would mind if he didnt know his own wife had surgery before she married him lol
