Was about to post that too! Both my sis and I have set 'traps' before we left for Germany for a day and when we came back we knew our mom had been going through our things! (yeah we hide newly acquired clothes and gadgets so we don't have to listen to another parent preaching)

i can't really say for sure, but the worse i've caught red-handed was when we had a casual party at my house and adults brought their kids so there was like 10 kids 8-14 running around and i was care-taker. So the smallest one asks me if some of the 'older kids' can use my comp for myspace *damn u myspace, corrupting the next generation* so i said sure go ahead. I come back 5 minutes to tell them dessert is ready when this girl i hate is going through my diary/sketch book, a boy is going through my closet, another boy is rummanging through my yearbooks, and the smallest one is on the computer doing who-knows what (she closed the window as i entered)
i, naturally told them to get the f*** out
next day, the oldest girl asked her mom to ask me why i was pissed off at her....

haha i guess that's pretty common. I used to keep diaries(God i think i even wrote down when i kissed a guy etc) until i found out my mom read it. Never kept a diary since.

Haha I'd be pissed for sure but more for annoying me than invasion of privacy coz i don't think the kids even know what they haf invaded... Unless of course they tell it to their parents.

A bunch of other people's kids rummaging in your room, that's the worst thing and you can't bea..scold at them if their parents are around. (or did you?)

I value privacy alot.. and fortunately I have reasonable parents.. so no probs so far.

But I've heard many.. and I think one I wun be able to stand is reading ur handphone messages

I hate it when people stand behind me and look when I am working on the computer... People picking my phone calls, people playing with my phone (and read my SMSs), people looking through my wallet without asking (I usually don't let people go thru my wallet unless it's a close friend or something)

    That's like a sin.

Always regulary delete your sms (don't forget the sent box), open up more screens when you're working on a computer (there used to be a cool Dilbert fake screen that looks like you're working on Excel incase your boss is walking by if you don't have the time to close all the pages you were watching) and the wallet... I dunno, I don't carry a wallet, only a bankcard which save me a lot of weight and troubles. -lol

Now it seems like a spy novel.

I clear my SMSs once a week, but it's the gesture which bothers me, not the fact that they will know something... Because they probably won't... The window thing is already exceled (No pun intended) from the time when my parents are around to read over my shoulder :p

The thing about it is that I've had friends who (jokingly) try to guess my PW on my computer...

One of these day I will have to install the biometric login thing.

LOL! Yeah I always learn from spy novels and films (speaking of which, anyone seen Cambridge Spies?) so if I ever do anything shady, I'll make sure I've covered my butt first!

You'll going for the whole package, won't you? Iris scan, voice recognition, fingerprints and dna check? ;)
