I adore the Three Gorges on Yangtze River, it's all about the scenary (though I am not so certain for NOW, my last visit was way before the dam was retired), the "cruise" and the spicy food!
All about HK! its the best and most modern place in China! like pretty much the rest of china looks to Hk as their rolemodel.. Shanghai is crap dont go there.. people are really rude and the place is really polluted.
Didn't really find the appeal of Hong Kong as a travel spot as it's more like my home. Though I live full time in Canada Plus, Hong Kong is mostly about shopping, which goes against my idea of travel =_=b
Trek all over China, because different parts got decidingly different culture and beautiful scenary (and food!) I prefer the Northern part over the Southern part, but again I don't consider Hong Kong as a tourist spot because it's like my home...
No offence, i really don't like travelling in mainland china, i prefer staying in hk whenever i go back cos it's cleaner and somehow more "ordered" there to me for some reason lol
can't stand Hong Kong personally much prefer Beijing. Cicil society seems higher. Yunnan isa nice place for visiting.
I will like to go to the more rural areas.. hmm.. guess I will be better off visiting tibet or mongolia instead
^ From what i heard, not everyone can go to the mountainous tibet because of high pressure atmosphere.
I can't say I've been to many places in China, but I would certainly go back to the Great Chinese Wall, the Simatai part. http://www.code-d.com/china/simatai.php Very few tourists (there was like max. 35 peeps incl. our small group) and you can easily take stunning pictures without worrying that another chinese is walking through your cameraview. Downside is it's distance and we had to travel 6 hours to go there and another 6 hours back. And it's all still within Beijing....-what?
