I'll admit I do it for the chase sometimes, but then I run into problems when the chase is over, and I find out we have nothing in common. I run away, and feel like a jerk, then she's the one chasing me.
Wow, the heat is on here... flame war! But really, I don't think it's very manly to insult either gender, the delicate point of being funny and being offending is often crossed without knowledge. And it is unattractive, or did I mention that already? Guys crave attention from girls in general, if a girl pay no attention to him AT ALL, he feels like a challenge to attract her... But b!tchy girls generally are, well, b!tches which guys tend to avoid. Kind of. If that makes any sense at all. @Duch: Don't we all, girls try to get the best looking guy in the room. If she got it and found him uninteresting they generally turn away too... Unless there's some great strings attached to him such as riches and... well, sex.
Like I said in the one of the racism (or was it Virginia Tech Shooting) threads, jokes at the expense of another has never been, and will never be, funny to me. Yes, there's a fat chick trying to fit into a size 4 there, but really, those size 0s are totally saying the same about me trying to fit into a size 2. When one think of the "joke" is on the expense of themselves, all of a sudden the joke become offensive. Though most of the time people will brush it off "hahaha, very funny", it will leave a tiny fissure in that person's trust in the joker. Those fissures accumulate and one day the person stop meeting the joker altogether. And girls are easily hurt, if a guy said something mean (and personal) about a girl, she will NEVER forget it. Most of us are begrudging like that. So yeah, beware of your sense of humour, it is highly likely that it will backfire.
^ haha.. this belongs to the humour thread.. Talking abt the chase.. its part of the game, to spice up a relationship. Just dun forget the priorities.. and the purpose of the relationship.. if there is any.
^ I was about to say as well. My dear MSG: I actually wish you would find me boring so that you would stop trying so hard to get my attention. Now shoo. -sleep Nah, you just took it too personal. Actually, I think I may be a little bit more interested in you. -devil
humm... i guess i better be more careful... how long do those grudges usually last? @chic ... your evil -sweat
@Wintersky: "never" indicates that you've got yourself a life sentence, pray for an amnesty helps. Damnation. I was kind of looking forward to it to rear its ugly head... surprised that it kind of dies off, really.
Serious. Well it of course depends on the girl, but most of the girls kind of have a huge load of "grudges" in their secret stash... Some are better though Hope you are lucky that yours wouldn't mind
theres a way to describe mean females all in one word.......shes a BIT*H ...... n the last thing i would like my girl to be is a bi*ch ......playing hard to get does not mean act like an asshole
^ lol.. relax there dude.. And you said it yourself, playing the chase doesn't mean being an asshole.. or being mean. Everything in moderation
yes girls remember things real easy. It might seem like they forget, but when things go haywire, suddenly they start bringing up all these things you said to her in the past. So guys out there, if you are going to try and be funny and tease the girl, they might not get offended, but it doesn't mean they forget haha
