Don't think it's working as it is an artifically created thing... very limited penetration, people may see it as novelty and visit, but doubt that it will catch on as the mainstream. The Patriachy will not cease because some tiny village's made-believe "culture". Plus it's not like China's having a lot of female nowadays (around 40% more male than female, I think) It is bound to end up in bloodshed and tears.
