Just like the title says, how do you go about money and getting by in life? Do you JUST get by? Are you comfortable? Or are you so stinkin' rich you don't even know where to put your money? >.< Lately I've really been thinking about how lucky I am to have grown up in a well grounded household with plenty of food and shelter. I used to think my parents deprived me of a lot of things in life because I couldn't always get EVERYTHING I wanted, but I still got a lot, nonetheless. What about those of you who are on your own? Are you living comfortably? How hard do you have to work to get to a comfortable place?
I'm living comfortably, I can't vacation right now because I'm between jobs, and living off savings, but once I get the offer I've been waiting for I'll be better off.
I m ok for now... but used most my saving from my previous jobs cuz i quit to concentrate on school now =/
I don't have money problems. About to graduate and already got a job lined up. trying to save some money to get a motorcycle.
Hmm... money is definitely an issue for me. My aim is to achieve financial independence ASAP so I can go about doing stuffs like travelling, charity work, pursue hobbies etc.
Money will always be an issue.. no matter how much you have. Different kinds of issues.. but still sth that you will have to deal with..
^agreed with XJ money will always have its play in life its never just oh well got enough dont need to think about it anymore
when u have to much money u are more sad than what others thing or see...money doesn't bring happiness and i can say that this is one of the thing that can separate a family ..
No, I don't think money is an issue for me right now. I'm really kind of a penny saver >_< My parents have taught me a value of a dollar from the time I was in elementary school. I've never had brand name shoes until I reached high school because of sports. I never brought anything extravegant until I reached my senior year. The only time I had to have money was when I was playing sports during high school. I've always saved and watched what I spend my money on unless it's really important or essential; I'm hoping to get a laptop. In due time, money will become essential for me as I move on in life. But as of now money is not everything, except for paying for my education.
umm.. not really. i'm glad that for now, my shelter and food are paid for (& cooked already too!) so enjoying it while i can.
Money is not really an issue at the moment... im doing a paid traineeship and im receiving money from the government... but then agai n i have to pay my own rent and all that... i guess I survive+ i can spoil myself with a few nice gifts (brand make up, clothes i like, shoes etc).. so actually quite happy with the situation im in now
Money is tight at the moment (my wife & I make 6 figures combined), but in 3 months will be making more than double that just from my salary alone. However, I owe: $300,000 in government student loans plan on buying a house in 3 yrs plan on having a child within 1.5 yrs car insurance payments life insurance payments disability insurance payments health insurance payments the usual (electricity, gas, water, heating, internet, cable bills) so that pretty much negates a big chunk of the money I make =P
