Do you guys like the franchisee series? Played every single one of them. Any news onf RE5? I heard the "zombies" have the intelligence from RE4 and they are fast!! Like they dont walk or drag their bodies but more like...from 28 Days Later
OMG, *LOVES* Another thread meant for hiake I adore the franchaise, although I must say I have difficulties playing them on PS (more of a Gamecube person myself) so I have no idea how the earlier installments went, but zero and 4 were brilliant! Then there's RE:Umbrella Chronicles (RE5?)... The graphics look stunning (considering it's a Wii... its CGI power is much lower than PS3 and all)

^ Wow, BabyR, you are here too. *oh-so-surprised too* LOL, Zombies are indeed fun and all, the mental image of the Silent Hill film (where a bunch of monster/zombie) did a dance thing... right before the woman went to the hospital room Totally spoofed.
-lol Speakin of Silent Hill... I remember there was this gory scene when they were all runnin into the church and this creature tore that woman apart... I was half bored throughout the movie until that part totally shocked me and gave me a shot of adrenaline Didn't complete the game so I wasn't aware of the ending. Had to watch it twice (ending) to 'kinda' understand it.
I was spoiled by my friend because I wasn't planning to see it at the cinema in the beginning. He was absolutely confused by the ending, so he told me the entire story... and then only after I explained it to him (how the mother had "died" early into the film THEN remained in Silent Hill) the entire film became all about the graphics and the suspense (since I know the last twist of plot/punch line ) I don't know, I found Silent Hill to be a very feminine film... somehow...

Hmmm, hang on... Can't really remember correctly. On second thought I think the school mistress's sister gave birth to a bastard daughter, who was molested and become the target of the religious cult... (they have to sacrifice her or something), The girl escaped with the help of police officer (whose hand was burnt) and was being treated in the hospital in Silent Hill... Years later... The young daughter adopted was an incarnation (a ha, that's where I got the "grand-daughter" notion) of that burnt girl (who was later seen in the basement of the hospital) or something... The whole story is very feminine (to me) because it was all about being maternal and nurturing @_@b I guess...
^Oic.. I was thinkin that that gal in d real world was the daughter of that burnt gal whom got uhm raped (i assumed it was rape when they showed the molest scene)... So kinda complicated eh? lol If she's the incarnation of that burnt girl, how can the burnt gal still b alive? *confused... On second thoughts, the burnt gal isn't alive right?
The burnt girl isn't alive... None of the towns people are exactly what you call "alive" during that film. I would say.. it's like a plane of death (vs. the plane of living), the place where the mother went to after the car crash. Those who cannot head to heaven or wherever place souls/spirits go after their death remain there... Think of it like a curse on Silent Hill, everyone died there will remain in that "plane of death" Personally I think that's the reason why the school mistress look so young while the crazy lady was OLD (the school mistress was supposed to be the older sister) -- because school mistress died during that sacrifice/fire thing (young) while crazy lady (birth mother of the girl) die of old age or something...
^So if they were all dead... why's the burnt gal monster creature ripping them off ? I mean, it wouldn't hurt if ur dead anyway rite? lol. I tot the mother was dead, wasn't sure abt the rest of them. P/s:Lol we r so hijackin this thread.
