lol.. such an over-statement.. and if you really wanna look at it that way, which country's actions/ decisions are not driven primarily by its economy? But perhaps China could learn to do it in a way that will not invite so much criticism.. -lol

 

I was there few years ago and it smaller then the one in Paris.
Anyway didnt exspected that much from the disneyland in Hongkong but well its nice that hong kong got one always nice to go there with your family ;>

 

this is hilarious. i want to go to the Disneyland in HK and was kind of doubting that the one mentioned is the one in HK and so i'm glad that it's not. as for the Disneyland characters looking weird, i only found out today about "Asian Pooh" and "American Pooh". apparently "Asian Pooh" has very noticeable blushing cheecks (just one red dot on each cheeck) and somehow looks cuter.

 

Thats not a real disney park even i don't speak japanese, i can hear from the interviews that they are stating that the park is not real and that there isn't much difference from the actual disney.
I've been to the one in Anaheim and the costumes are much better made.

This story is going to be interesting since the Americans are very protective and the Chinese are very good at copying.
The Japanese did the same thing 30 years ago.
The Koreans did it.
Why not the chinese? They want the same thing we have...

 

Well, I think China has enough myths and legends herself to build a themepark on instead of copying it badly from others.
