March 20th 2007 Today, Bandai Visual announced that Akira Toriyama's popular manga and anime series "Dragon Ball" will become an online game called "Dragon Ball Online". Toriyama will oversee the project, while the Tokyo/Seoul-based company "NTL" will develop it. The game is scheduled for a release in 2008 in Japan, but a beta test in Korea will start this summer. Fees and payment schedules are undecided at this time. The game itself is based in a world several hundred years after the events of Dragon Ball. This allows for both well-known characters and all-new characters to be introduced to gamers. Players can freely customize their hair, clothing and other facets of their character, group with other players and defeat powerful enemies and quests. Players can also challenge one another in combat. Screenshots to prove it is real: Also in this game you can start off as a kid and become an adult or start off as an adult. Currently their are only 2 race selectable and they're Human and Namek. Currently the only 2 platform it will be on is PC and XBOX360. More info coming soon...

wow. dragon ball in going to be online. i wondering when is this going to come out. i think i might play it. im a Dragon Ball fan. i cant wait.
It would be awesome it you could create massive beams that carve out giant holes in the landscape, but that probably won't happen. I hope they make the animation for turning super saiyan really flashy
dont think its a console game LOL & it's in korean/japanese :S don't sure if its even coming out in english.
Okay I will be Super Saiyen Goku's son who wants to fight? If they make a free game they might create an online shop or something and some people might not play it. If they make it a paid by subscription game then I think it will be sucessful like WoW.
