The Boeing 747 has also two floors. But the Airbus A380 is the real double floor plane. But it is not out yet, due to delays.

i think airbus a380 is going to fly passengers this coming fall

Difficult to tell, since the delay is due to a power struggle at the top of Airbus.
Besides that the Airports must have long enough runways to accomodate this bird.

Even if A380 goes into commercial service, I won't take it (if given a choice) just because it wastes way too much fuel (twice to three times as much while capacity is still around the same as 747...)

@Hiake: I thought you already had 3000 posts. Looks like you have the same problem as I have. I lost 40+ posts
As far as I can tell, the pay-load and flight radius of an A380 is much bigger than a 747-400

It's okay (did I lost post counts? Really? -unsure)

It is bigger, of course, but it is not any more fuel efficient (or faster, as far as I know...)

Not sure about that last bit though :p

If you like Japanese food, yes.
There food range is too limited.
Some of the food is too traditional and I don't think that Westerners will like that (dried fish, etc)
They focus too much on the Japanese customer

Huh, but they always have 2 choices, a western style and a Japanese style meal so isn't that enough? (or are you talking about the domestic JAL flights?) Although I'm glad I didn't get the dried fish when I opted for the Japanese style meal.

Guess some traditional Japanese are likely to complain if they would give up too much of their Japanese identity in order to cater the westerners.

Majority of airlines only have 2 choices, so no biggie.

Most international carriers have meals that suites most cultures.
If you have special requirements, like: Moslim meal, Diabetic, Veggie meal.

according to my ex.... the are very selective of the girls they hire.... if ur ugly u most likely will not get the job.... and during the training session they train you to dress act apply makeup and groom and fix your hair... in other words they train the grils to be barbies :)

ehhh last time the flight attendent started speaking japanese to me :p i guess that would of been good service if i was japanese :)
