don't be so hard on yourself, it happens to all of us. but i'm not saying don't care; just work harder to try your best for the future.
Talk to the professor about your final grades. If you aren't satisfied (and most likely won't be) with the grades because you're a straight-A freak, then drop it and take it again. evilmui: Considering it's the end of the semester for most colleges and he has fucked up one of his final exams, what are you trying to say? Try harder next year?
Yeah I will stick with that stupid class and just try to study more. The semester is almost over so if I do well in the final then I will end up fine. I felt like shit right after I took that test and when I got my test back, but it's all good now. And plus I'm not "smart" in math related areas nor am a "smart" asian, so I will be happy with a C+ or a B in like 20 days, cause I don't believe in Ds. Tks everyone
try not to get anymore C's. They tend to mess up your GPA really bad. Next time, go to ratemyprofessor.com when picking your classes. It totally helped me alot.
You could talk to the professor and see if he will weigh the final exam more than normal, so your '20' won't affect you too bad. Or maybe ask him to base your grade solely on the final--just make sure you're prepared.
fuckkkkkkkk. i got all my marks back today and i only got a 62% in biology :(.. it brings my average down to 76 percent... this is terrible, really hurts my chances of getting into pharmacy
how about buddy system to try improve the situation? check the paper again to see what you have done wrong before giving up? Some things are not meant to be, so if after checking the paper out, you still feel it is too hard, then maybe dropping statistics is the way to go. Consult your lecturer/teacher and close friend for their opinion on this.
Stats is VERY important. You may not realise it at this point in time, but stats is everywhere in daily life. But the real issue here is your self-confidence. It took a battering after a pretty good score for the first two. But look on the bright side. Perhaps it's a wake-up call. Maybe you didn't understand the principles behind the subject? Or you were too confident? Anyway, all the best and don't give up!
I say drop the class and take it over again. I'm assuming there are no more exams in the class nor will there be any extra credit assignments
that's okay. Study harder next time, don't let one mistake ruin everything. Statistics is a very tough subject so don't worry.
Seriously if its going to affect ur gpa too much then drop it. If ur gpa doesn't matter and u still need the stats course as a prereq or whatever then keep it
yea. If u get lower than a certain CGPA, then they can stop u from graduating monkey see monkey do? It good to know
shits happen xD it happen to me before, better luck next time =] my gf made this quote : "people are often blinded by their failure, they failed to see their successes. dont let that failure overwhelm you, look at your successes
^ yea like he said shit happens its not a big deal its just a grade next time just try harder its happened to me before i studied for 2 days and i still failed that class it was a big blow but then just try harder i mean ppl just blank out your not the only one
