I can honestly tell that my PC has never crashed and I've never had the blue screen show up. I'm using a Sony VAIO desktop.
^ Any trick to that??? I am sincere because my computer seems to crash on a somewhat regular basis =_=b
^ being vigilant with windows is kinda wat u gotta do to make it stable besides that you can... 1) Start with a clean install of windows, and check that your hardware is stable (70-80% of errors is attributed to hardware slowly coming to the end of life and need replacements) 2) then install a decent antivirus like nod32 or norton 3) then install a decent spyware/malware detector like spybot or adaware 4) Keep up with the windows update 5) Avoid those nasty porno sites (the source of all evil) 6) Avoid adding too many programs, from my professional experience i've found that if you load way too many programs on the system it tends to fry the registry causing the computer to fail and the blue screen of death 6) If things go kaput use the windows system restore found in your system tools in the accessories folder to push the registry a few days to weeks back try these few steps out and see if they help improve your stability
I use both mac and pc, there is good and bad about both. We should all go back to the good old days and use Amiga
Lets first clear any misinterpretation....my definition of mac is runing purely OSX and not boot camp/OSX i'm reiterating my point that mac's can't do all things that a PC can do....unless bootcamp is installed then yes a mac can do as much as a PC...but without bootcamp OSX just can't do what PC's do...and you seem to have a fixation on this ram issue...i clearly stated in my previous post that RAM is heavily user dependent another example in an engineering firm you will never see a mac...why? because engineering software like Autodesk and ArcView don't work on mac's period...so once again your mac has shown that it is not equivalent to a PC....how bout u step down from your high horse and realize that your mac is not the greatest thing to come to this planet
mmmkay, lets see... I have no tricks but if you can answer the questions below I might be able to help solve your problem. 1. How many mb of ram installed? 2. Are all the fans in your tower working properly? 3. Are you a huge multitasker and were you multitasking before the problems occured? 4. What were you doing before the problem occured? 5. Have you oced you system? 6. How often do you clean the tower?
if ur definition of current gen macs are so miniscule... then we have nothing to talk about sir... i don't see why u're on my case about my "high horse" because i never said macs were better, i never said they were perfect, i never said they were god's gift to man or whatever else you wanna try to shove down my throat... I simply said what a PC can do, a mac can do as in, equal... you sir seem to be the one on the high horse with the belief that the PC IS the answer to all...
yes i truely believe that the macs should stay in the design world where they have made a niche for themselves...as the premire system to get...that is something that PC will never ever be able to do well...and PC should do what they do best and that is game, programing and cad/arcview/arcgis software so go play on your mac i play on my pc and enjoy what they can do and don't forget to pay your dues to the mac cult....
I was going to say that-rolleyes but forgot too. I like linux, and i've successfully installed it on both mac and pc . I think linux is good on how it constantly innovates os
i have both mac and pc. One thing that I like my mac over pc is: Mac never get as much spywares and viruses as pc.
