WHOA copy and paste... That hurts ... So I've been spending my time and effort in making posts which you DON'T read??? Geez.. then what the hell am I doing having a 'discussion' with you?

  2. lets be honest here, your not sorry, but its all good :)

i knew a person like you in college who answered their own questions, hehe brings back memories. no i never mean that...... making the other 2 questions pointless.

a good person is a good person, a bad person is a bad person, a saved person is a saved person, a unsaved person is an unsaved person.

Oh really? That's not what you were going to answer? Then tell me... I AM interested to know.
    Who are Evil People?

  4. you know what. i was trying to be nice to you about this.

this is EXACTLY WHY PEOPLE ARE YELLING AT YOU ABOUT IT!!

we respect your damned religion, we NEVER said non-buddhists cannot go to heaven. in fact, I believe no matter WHAT religion you are, you can ALWAYS go to heaven.

it is because of people like you who are NOT OPEN to OTHERS that there are holy wars in the world.

YOU DONT SEE US GOING AROUND AND SAY BUDDHISM/MUSLIM/HINDUISM RULES AND THOSE OF YOU WHO ARENT FROM WHATEVER RELIGION CANNOT GO TO HEAVEN

SO DO THE SAME FOR US AND QUIT BEING A TUBE AND JUST LOOK AT ONE VIEW

if you truly believe that non-christians cannot go to heaven, BY ALL MEANS KEEP THAT FOR YOURSELF!

im sorry, i dont get excited like this often. it is just the fact that when we (everyone else) are trying to be open and learn about YOUR religion, you are disrespecting us by NOT doing the same.

    do you understand?

  5. as for the origin of the bible, i believe there are corrupt versions out there, and versions that are close to the original hebrew and greek. i have a bible that shows the original greek and Hebrew with direct translation into english but that doesnt really matter here.

i said before that you know the authenticity of the bible when you are guided by the holy spirit, the bible makes clear that a person without the holy spirit will only see words or imagined symbols. i also said that its hard to understand for those who aint experienced it. remember the bible is a message, not a pattern.

an Evil person is an Evil person, how can i explain it. do u not believe in the existence of Evil people?, if you do then thats what im talking about.

You mean a saved person is a good person who believe in jesus (and followed it through) and unsaved person is everything else.

Then I really don't see the point of doing good in the first place if one does not believe in religion. And in turn, you just generalized the entire non-believer of Jesus/Christianity as evil.

Interesting. I am not riding on moral high horse here but I sure as hell live MUCH more morally than many so-called self-proclaimed faithful Christians I've encountered. And your double standard in what is being saved (yes, I got it that you got it from the Bible or some scripture) is just fustrating. Not to me, since I will probably end up in hell by Christianity standard (regardless of my good deeds and all). But I think it is just unfair to say "well, unsaved people should go and repent their not very sinless life" since the concept of "sin" has never been defined.

And yeah, define sin if you will. Practical examples helps, and I am not looking examples such as "not believing in Christianity" because I am of course conscious how Christianity will view such as "sinful". Something new if you will.

  7. hehe its cool dann, this is the 3rd time now, other 2 were misunderstandings as i remember, but its all cool :)

  8. ....... you are not sorry?

THE WHOLE DEFINITION OF ANY RELIGION IS TO FORGIVE, IS IT NOT IN CHRISTIANITY?

when we say we are sorry, we mean it.

your actions of NOT accepting apologies shows that you are not following your own chirstian path.

is it not right to forgive in christianity? tell me im wrong.

and a saved person. tell me. im lost. please explain to me the definition of a saved person.

is it a person who has converted to christianity? is that it?

This "discussion" seems to be becoming a personal issue between two persons.

@ master_g: Take it easy, fellow christian. As a christian, spreading the word is good, but you need not keep on emphasizing over and over again about eternal damnation because it makes you seem "superior" to others.

There's a saying in chinese: "If everyone takes a step back, the sea/ sky is much wider".

Please, lets not get so heated... geesh.. that's why I do not go into the religion section lol you tend not to get anywhere really..End up arguing, I never do, but that's what is happening here... Master_g: If you truly have respect for the Bible, read 2 Corinthians 2:17. Everyone has a right to their beliefs, please don't disrespect it. God blessed everyone with having the gift of free will, to choose how to live and what to believe in.

Is there anyone besides me who think this passage is outrageous? Probably not but anyways. So you KNOW the authenticity of the bible (or its details) when you are guided by the holy spirit. To say the least I am convinced that this is one way to say version of the bible which DID NOT record according your beliefs MUST be corrupted. How convenient.

I can just totally say that all the scriptures in all the religion is corrupted recordings because I had a vision of MY higher being. Then all logic just fly right out of the window because it is personal, and it cannot be shown. Plus, do you mean that someone as faithful as you CANNOT be guided by the holy spirit to learn the autheticity of ANOTHER version of the bible (not the same as you, thus corrupted by your standard)?

No wonder the holy war still goes on. Corrupted version... I guess you should apply to have a master_g edition of the bible to record the authetic version of YOUR holy bible.

So it's about me? or BR now? Where did YOUR definition go? I want to see YOURS, not a derivative of mine because obviously I don't believe in the same evil as you do.

  12. thank you wind..

but just so you know, its not quite an issue between two person..

its just that i just want him to understand what you just said: "because it makes you seem "superior" to others."

honestly, ill tell you this. i despise religious debates.

but here, theres actually a secondary point:

one must have respect for another. im just debating that issue..

  13. hehe

YES!! i believe that, i told you about the sorry state of secular Christianity before i think.

ultimately a sin is going against the will of God, anything unholy is sinful. breaking any of the 10 commandments is sinful and if ANYONE breaks one commandment once then they have broken them all and there is no way back except through Jesus.

im not saying those outside of Jesus are evil, im sure i said before that even good people will go to hell if they are not saved.

  14. thank you.. if only i had read the Bible..

because of this specific quote, i am finally ready to pull myself out of this heated debate..

@ dann So true, respect is key. No matter what religion/ pr atheist ppl are, i still respect them for who they are though i might not agree with them.

  16. but i need someone to clear something up for me..

what does it mean to be saved?

and master_g, please read sugacutie0's post:

"read Corinthians 2:17. Everyone has a right to their beliefs, please don't disrespect it. God blessed everyone with having the gift of free will, to choose how to live and what to believe in."

@master_g: Yes, me using the word "hell" is so funny because I am definitely there by Christian standard (for not being a Christian convert). Really, I don't see what's so funny about that.

Okay, so sin is descibed by the 10 commandments, any other requirements of judgement I should know about?

Does poisoning the environment counts? Does stepping on the grass counts? Does playing favouritism counts?

Just curious about what I will be judged against, since I at least can be a morally righteous person despite the failure to convert (ha).

  18. you know.. im finally catching up on what hiakes been asking.. lol

In christian perspective, saved means accepting Christ as our personal Savior.

AND HOW DO THESE COME ABOUT?
Aren't those 'original' Hebrew and Greek versions written by HUMANS like us? THROUGH HEARSAY? Because all those events depicted in the Bible happened LONG AGO before they come up with symbology and invented the Gutenberg.

    Hypothetically speaking;
if you or I were to come up with a sets of rules on a new religion through hearsay... would those exact sets of rules be passed on and translated without any inaccuracies???
