Wow, one great teacher you have there...

I personally would write about trend assimilation, but then it will be a lot of work researching the "true" origin of fashion items such as heels (unisex in origin), make-up (unisex in origin), wig (unisex in origin), gloves (men's fashion in origin) etc...

Yeah, Gap recently introduced the boyfriend trousers and shirt for woman. Lol. a point that shows that fashion is not static in general.

The straight leg, a trend a few seasons back before skinny pants hit us again, was "the boyfriend jeans" as in recent times we've been wearing flared pants... So yeah, the unisex closet is quite THE THING lately...

Talking about GAP, anyone saw that white collection designed by Doo.ri, Rodarte and Thakoon?! Some of those pieces are really cute!! I like the Rodarte sleeveless best :)

Think takin a positive stance on this would be more advantageous...

You could question the meaning of the sentence 'young men look like women'... how exactly do women look?
Is it stereotyping when one expects only women should have good, beautiful skin? Men are not supposed to go for facials? etc.etc

isn't Metrosexual part of this discussion? i think the idea of guys now taking as much time as girls to get ready to go out is quite similar.
