Back on the topic of the OP... Today girls dress like boys and young men look like women Girls nowadays enjoy the privilege of dressing freely in clothes of their choosing, and a few of the latest trends share common inspiration: the boy look. Shorts of various length, shirt and tailored jacket, many of them are borrowed from the wardrobe of a schoolboy. Not to mention the return of flats or shoes without heel, which resembles footwear of young boys. Boys of our time, on the other hand, become more and more refined. Even though the raggard look is popular among many young boys, they entails much attention to various details including fixing the hair, carefully washed jeans to emulate the vintage look and the extensive use of adornments including jewellery and scarfs. It is puzzling to see that the two genders assimilate fashion of the other gender, however, if one were to compare the fashion trends further down the memory lane, one can see that the assimilation of gendered fashion is nothing new. From the use of corsets and bustier, to heeled shoes, to wigs and various items of cosmetics, much of the early fashions are for the male population as they are the group which requires fashion as an indication of their socioeconomic status (doing well)... many of those fashion later migrated to the female population with much success, and the male population in turn abandoned them, making such fashion to be of "female" origin... And elaborate ^+++^
a good topic is to talk about transvestites Since it is not a discussion, you have to start off with what you just said...then you justify with 3 reasons why people are doing that. Then expand on each of the reasons in a paragraph. You have to conclude that eventually everyone is gonna be a transvestites
You can totally go and have the honour of demostrating how it should be done, either by writing the entire essay/whatever you want written or take a picture of yourself being a transvestite and comment with your afterthoughts.
LOL, nothing perv about suggesting a proper sex ed section... I'd personally think it's more perv to sex-ize everything one read...
thanks very much,i think you are the only one here that had understood it...thanks i got more ideas now.By the way,it is 'a level'
No probs Though it's extra nice if you clicky on the thanks button A-level??? You mean the mock for A-level right??
i'm learning A-level syllabuses but it's next year that i will sit for the final A-level...Why is it surprising?you don't do A-level?
Oh, in my country we don't have A-levels... I am just surprised that an A-level exam has such vague topic @_@bbb hee
that's why it is called A-level,because everything is vague, lol. last week i got another essay on 'why are sports so bound-up with politics'-_-2
Hmmmm, I guess I think this original topic "girl dress like boys and boys dress like women" is vague in the sense that "dressing like" is a very vague idea. Same with "fashion". But "why are sports so bound-up with politics" is more straight forward IMO... it is a matter of national/regional pride and many times represents the resources a nation has devoted to "recreational" budgets
yeah, maybe you're right, maybe not.In my side,i've seen this very straightforward that it was related to fashion but like some who thought about 'metrosexual'...i don't think the teacher would have given me something like this...he told me that Cambridge had once given this essay in england..don't know if it's true
