We don't know the whole background story but based on this info I would say: hypocrites! I thought all doctors had taken the Hyppocratic Oath to help injured people no matter what their background is. And even convicts should have some medical rights, at least they (Americans) would say that if their own soldiers were captured by their enemies.
if they came to him asking for treatment then its not his fault, because the hippocratic oath dictates helping anyone in need. but if he volunteered to treat them and actively sought them out, then their might be a case against him.
You think the oath is still valid when a US doctor (assuming that he is a citizen) helps terrorist, so they can go back and kill more US army people? Seems like a lose-lose situation to me... if he helps, he's gunna be charged of treason.. if he doesn't help, he's going against his oath...
i think this is really stupid... i think that doctor only take them as a human that is injured..... so if i'm a terorist do i deserve to die, why do they have to put a limit on who should the doctor help or where should the doctor stand. Doctor is a neutral unit in the battle filed. Or anywhere in this world as long as you are a living thing and is injured the doctor have the responsibility to help. UNFAIRRR
