Video Converters

    Here are just a few that I usually use and have pretty good results

    Total Video Converter - Somewhat Multi-Purpose

    Xilisoft Video Converter 3 - Multi-Purpose [Overall Good Quality]

    WinAVI - Multi-Purpose [Overall Good Quality]

    VSO.ConvertXToDVD.v2.1.14.223 - For converting to DVD only [Good Quality]

    Post other ones you use as well :)

    blaze does limited conversions
    but lets u edit b4 u convert =)

    i use winavi, its simpler than the other ones like allok, super, tmpenc.

    SUPER is probably the best free converter as it does pretty much anything to anything however it's quality isn't the best, same with most of these "simple" converters (ConvertX, WinAVI etc).

    For quality, you really want to use Main Concept Encoder and do several passes. The payoff however is that it's very long winded and takes a lot of practice as there's so many options/variables and the interface isn't friendly at all.

    I used to use riverpast video cleaner, did a decent job at converting between formats

    well i've only used winavi.. it seems ok.. but seems to lag at times :d
