Just my luck today i manage to find some Bape clothing at a shop in downtown Perth. Thing is i dont know if it is fake or not. I googled it and told me many characteristics of it and stuff, but i don think its helping.

Can u guys distingiush the real from the fake?

The jackets right, well i have the Bape 2006 Winter catalogue and it aint there...because its winter in Aus. atm

The jackets are like 120 each but they look abit dodgy.

Look online and compare the prices. When the price is expensive, it is probably real.

this is the tag for a reversible crew neck or t-shirt

    ____________________________________________________
for the most part, the zippers on bape are made of metal. the should all say "bape" on the front side of the zipper, but if you look at the back, you'll notice that it's still made by YKK.

additionally, you should not be able to see the zipper. the way bape makes their hoodies, there are little flaps that cover the zipper up. this is true for MOST hoodies, but not all, such as this baby milo one:

another simple thing to look at are the sleeve tag, and the little size tag. both of these have a very simple embroidery, but the one thing that is different from the real and the fake ones are the little threads that you can see behind the tag on the real ones:

    FAKE
    [IMG]

there are, however, fakes with the same type of material, but the rest of the hoody is so off, it doesn't even matter:

also notice in this picture the neck tag, and the hang tag. they are both completely off, and if you see anything with this, it's fake automatically.

next thing to check are the care tags. for fakes, the tags often aren't as bold, and the writing is done in several different fonts.

hope this source helps you =)

My bad, thought you had bought them. Are there no testing booths? Just go there, take quick pics of tag, one in general, zipper, and some detailed shots like of the stiches around the hoodie ^^

^it's not a reputable one but the ting is is that it sells clothes that isnt unique in Oz, like Bape for example.

They say they ship clothes from japan, u.s. and europe and etc. Hmmm....

do they have huge stocks of bape? since it's pretty hard to get lots of authentic hoodies.....and the price is cheaper than in japan or hk so im not so sure if it's real

no wayyy! 5 hoodies. 8 shirts and thats it. Oh and 4 caps.

The jackets are cheap, going from 180 to 120 bucks "on sale" as so they claim

im paying a 3 digit sum number. I at least want to wear something that is REAL rather than being made, sewn and shipped from someone's garage...

Hmm, you might want to think twice then. How long was the store in operation?

well if u want the original, get it from the original place =)

order it online or however, ask friends who go there for holidays for some?
i only got a few things.. atleast they're real =)

tho if im after the style, i'd rather get a no-name thingy than a fake look alike eheheh

wonder if theres any in syd
    i hafn't been shopping around so i dunno ><
been suit shopping... damn expensive =(

got a vip discount for 40% off ben sherman stuff...
tho prices start around 650+ for a suit ><
    so even with discount.. *sigh*
