Well, I would say it's an ironic display of feminism. At least she would get something in return for her virginity instead of just a one night stand. Something sold is more valuable than something lost for nothing IMO. Unless of course you are comparing it to "keeping it pure until marriage".
OMG your so right there LOL ... when me and my sister was back about 5 years ago and it was so hot i can't stand the heat. So I was in mini skirts/shorts and strappy vest tops and I was starred at so much I felt foolish. My sister was also in a low cut top and we had some right dirty stares >.<
