er...i guess it depends on the couple's decision on frigidness..i suppose it will go on til one partner cannot take it no more an wants more.. i'm not frigid..lol..i like to be hugged and kissed etc..and vice versa.. so i guess it depends on the couples..plus in a way its kinda like a test for respect..seeing if the partner can respect the decision on being frigid...
Not every couple haf to hug and kiss.... Look at those TVB series... Most couples just go for dating and not hug/kiss... hahaha. Especially the ancient series... But nowadays, even ancient ones are kinda daring already.

i think it also has to do with the girl's upbringing? i mean, what if the girl grew up with a non-affectionate family and the last time she was hugged by a family member was when she was 5? the people and circumstances you grow up with really influence the things you're used to and your comfortableness with certain things.
Depends...If we'd be in public...i dont mind if my bf would hug me and give me a little kiss...but like french kissing (what lots of people do in public) is a bit too much.... Overall I really like it when my bf touches, hug, or kiss me when we are alone... its sweeeet
Well when I hug or kiss my gf, it's uncontrollable. It's like at that moment I really want to hug her or kiss her. e.g. like when i missed her and i finally get to see her.
weird I've never known of g/f or b/f not liking being touched??? maybe in public but in private too? does it really happen? I mean maybe at first say 1-2 months its might be down to shyness but if it goes on after that I'm afraid I'd be either hurt or annoyed???
I am not an overly affectionate person; but if my bf were extremely frigid in public (like holding hands) I'd be irritated; might even be suspicious of him.. haha. Oh well, I like some TLC in public as well but not the overly demonstrative kind. So far as I know, no bf would be frigid in a private place; so I dunno...
