It's not that I feel better by treating waiters or waitresses badly. It's simply some of them are so incompetent that they simply piss me off. There was this one waiter who wrote down my order and didn't even send it to the kitchen, and so I was sitting there talking with a friend for like 15 minutes and then another 15 to prepare the food and stuff. And then the person had the nerve to hold my change for tips without asking me.( it was like a 40 or a 30 dollar meal). So yeah...sometimes(like this time) it happens.
well, then in that situation, there IS a reason to be pissed at the waiter. the way u wrote it, sounded like u just act like an ass without a reason to.
All is forgiven...why don't you get a job in an office as office assistant. It prob. pays less than the tips from waitressing or retail, but it's without having to face customers and it's repetitive donkey work.
i wish. but office work does not care to work with a school schedule. retail and waitressing is pretty much the only line of work that is willing to deal with it. the waitressing part isn't that bad because of the tips. but the retail...ugh...
Yeah, that's somewhat true. Like people I know that work in finance firms and accounting firms usually cram like 5 classes into two days a week. I'm like wtf how can you do that. A bank is usually more lenient in the scheduling, but if it was me I would choose to work at any white collar firm job near my school so that there's less travel. I would work as a waiter or retail or fastfood, but I seriously don't want to be servicing people.
i had one when i was in the bank i told the guy that after i stamp his check then he can leave but then he started complaining and harassing my co workers about it saying i want you to do this i told him its already been done then he goes screaming I am customer I right you know.....he should learn english..

There are definitely some annoying customers out there. Sure its on the phone but people complaining about and asking the same questions every 5 minutes even when we say we'll call them back. *sigh*
omg... the "are you sure?" question of course im sure! why? you want me to tell you that that fucking bike costs 1000 dollars? but a co-worker of mine would flip out and go "ive been working at this damn job for 16 years. of course im sure. what the hell" lol

i dunno. u gotta do what u gotta do. a lot of studying throughout the nite. i think when a person is placed in a certain situation, u have two choices. u give up or u fight for it. my rents aren't rich and i wouldn't want to burden them anymore anyways. besides, it'll just make the end when i become something that much more satisfying.
