I guess life can be weird at times, especially when some strange forces at work doesn't allow you to get a particular bf/gf that you're interested in. It's like someone puts up a strange forcefield in between both parties that prevents them from getting together. Also if by odd chance you do hook up with that person who you're interested in, something bad always happens to you or that person. Thus its all screwed up again...

That's applicable, provided both parties are in love... You can't force someone to love you back, if he/she doesn't have any feelings for you. But as long as you work hard on ur part, i guess that's good enough.
