i never really cared about fashion. But up until about half a year ago. I noticed i'm very different than how other people would dress. I use to wear my brother's old clothes and Foot Locker's plain color shirts (i think people call it 'tomboy'?). I'm not sure does clothes have to do anything with my broad shoulders and non curvy hips. So now i'm looking for some styles that will interest and, fit me? P.S Any tips for better getting a curvy body would be nice!
hmmm....i'm not really sure if my reply would help but this is what i do since i also am not that curvy. I'm what people would call a board...flat everywhere. lol since i do have a bit of breast, i would wear shirts that are a little bit tighter or hugs the top but loose at the bottom...or just a lose blouse. You can find a lot of those blouses in the vintage section or if you go to asiajam.com or antidote-clothing.com. if your stomach his flat, or just a bit poochy, then wear shirts that reveals your middrift a bit...kind of like a little peek-a-boo thing. As for your broad shoulders....hmm...i dont know how to solve that....sorry!
^don't mind him. and don't ask him. lol. that's all the answer you'll get if you ask him what to wear. i'm surprised he didn't say "nothing". about your clothes, however, i'd say just wear what's comfortable. i really can't give you any advice seeing as how my closet is half tomboy-ish and half not but you can try shopping at macy's or a teen clothing store or something. i don't know, worth a try? -shrug
LOL, I am a GAP fan... I literally have half my closet filled with GAP products. Their cutting are usually quite forgiving for more shapely girls and their quality isn't that bad... I know some people prefer Banana Republic, although I personally don't like their non-cotton dress pants and found them more suitable for a person with smaller frame... -unsure
^ hehehe i love gap too....kekeke id say go and be adventurous go shopping for a bit and try on clothes that are on them dummies on the window.....when you try them on...you will slowly pick up what suits and what doesnt....
god knows whats in atm where u live lol but still i would say go for some fitted jeans maybe skinny leg if it suits u =] & erm on top some nice tops if u have big busted go for high neck if ur more like average or have only little then dont have high neck tops cause they make em look smaller again i have no idea what u like or whats in where u live but i'd say something that fits big on u to give an illusion of shape & have a belt around ur waist (NOT hips as that will make u look preggy lol) heres one of the outfits i like wearing well my belt shuda been higher lol if it was then i'd have some hips but u get what i mean i wouldnt go for offshoulder tops though cause they will make urs stand out ermmm.. i dont really have any pics of outfits that would go atm lol i think waistcoats would look amazin, even broad shoulder ah well... best tip i can give u is.. take a day off to go shopping & TRY ON ANYTHING even if u hate the look of it, u cant hate it unless u tried it on good luck =]
Lol, I'm on the same boat as you. I'm probably worse. The only articles of clothes I know about are, shirts, pants, and shorts. Listening to some of my female friends talk about clothes, to me it's as if they are from another planet. It goes right over my head.

just wear what you like imo.. you dont have to follow the fashion :S aslong it aint geek clothes or anything why do you need to bling bling out of the others?

well, i do kinda have long legs (5'3 lol normal) so, i don't have a problem with pants or jeans (except my fat thigh). but i have a Huge problems with shirts and, coats. i kinda have my ribs sticking out (no, i'm not a skeleton) and, it makes me have a belly showing (can't eat alot so it won't sow T-T). And cottoncandybabe, i'll never look as good as you are (i'm too werid looking).
dont be silly of course u can look great! its just all about confidence so ermm.. ur kinda short but i spose ur still young, right? well deffo not go for skinny jeans then if u rekon u got fat thighs & erm all u need is the right coat tbf dont go for ones that are longer (over ur hips) it will only make u look shorter & bigger (even when ur not, trust me) & i think wrapover shirts would look great on people with wider shoulders & it will give u some curves cause its pulled together at ur narrowest part of body
lol i realized kdotc types like a pervert...mine's full closet of streetwear...i find them comfortable..at least for me...not planning to transform into a girl girl yet
