seriously they can't make siu mai for shit where i live lol, although i wouldn't mind shark fin siu mai lol
i like ha gau. with siu mai, they're okay at SOME places. but some places makes it sooo bad. they fill it with nothing but fat...ewwwww...
All of the above? But by order of preference: Ha-gau > wo-tip/wonton > siu mai Siu mai can suck beyond any belief at some places... Not to mention all the fatty pork meat (more like pork fat) in it...
I like ha gaus the most, especially with hot sauce. Order of preference would be ha gau > siu mai > wonton/wo-tip
i like all of the above!!! but if i had to choose... ha gau's the best... but i like dan tart!!! ahahaha my fava
I absolutely love Wor Tip! -tongue2 In fact I know my parents will be going to a chinese restaurant for a lunch in a few minutes and they'll come back with takeaway wor tip and other things for me. -bigclap At home I can make my own secret Wor-Tip sauce my dad had taught me (basic is still vinegar) and I can eat a LOT of it. I prefer the self made ones with coriander added in it. -chef After that Har Kau, Sui Kau and a few less well known are my favs, except for that Siu Mai...can't even rememeber when the last time was I've eaten tasty ones. -huh Edit: and a special mention for Won Tan! Fried Wan Tan's or the normal ones, both are delicious.
Why do you have to bump this up when I am feeling hungry right now.. lol Tax, u just woke up? Btw, I love dim sum so all those are delicious to me... -drool
Ha, I was hungry myself since I've skipped the breakfast and I'm starving myself now in order to eat more dim sum my parent swill be taling home for me. (mentally preparing myself for my portion of dim sum!) (No, was awake since 10.30am, but I hadn't expected the doctor would send us somewhere else to do a little test and we just came back after 2 and a half hours, gonna get some rest after this) >.<
Have you had told me earlier, I would have given you 1 Wor -Tip Had eaten 6 giant Wor-tips, 2 Sieuw Loong Boa's, 1 portion of Ngo Chong (not my fav but it was left over and I ate it as I was hungry) and 2 Kai Chai Boa's. My stomach still feels like I've eaten a horse lol.
I also like siu lung baos and gum lo wontons (deep fried wontons and dip them in sweet and sour sauce).
