Watch out...in my ideal fascist world I would ban people to a remote corner of the world who have a minimal knowledge of words to describe their thoughts. -cool2

I think the whole "the suspect was born criminal" is a lame attempt by the suspects side to get pity they don't deserve. The suspects made the decision to commit crimes, let them hang till their legs stop kicking.

I thought it's just simple eugenics -huh And I evilly figured that it'd be nice to have that implimented... If I got a say in it... Procreation should be a licensed right -whistle

I heard something like this a long time ago too. Many of the criminals studied have extra chromosomes. Like some have XYY instead of the normal XY.

But it's also possible laywers will give the criminals a longer sentence like Hiake said.

damn chromosomes lol but it's not really the chromosomes fault right because some that have the extra chromosome can be more heroic/ manly in situations instead, so it's that damn evil gene(?)

Fascists use eugenics too to strive for their goal of an ideal state? :)

Yup, only that particular bad gene/chromosome is something we must filter out of the human system if you want a worlds with less criminals. I don't believe all criminal has it though.

  10. Wow so all the gangs and criminals of the world have criminal genes ehh, i could just imagine some guy going up to some triad, yakuza, bloods/crips, mogrel mobs, KKK etc and telling them their parents passed onto them some criminal genes and their parents should never have been allowed to have them. lol its the persons choice imo not genes.

Well, the whole concept of having a "criminal gene" is that those with said gene is more prone to temptation, if you will excuse that metaphor (couldn't think of a better word), not unlike people who is talented in math, they are able to go far and wide in the world of mathematics, but does EVERYONE of them pull an Einstein? No, because nuture still plays a part.

Another example: some people have genes which are suseptible to cancer, does EVERYONE of them die of one type or another cancer? Not necessary, some of them could have died before the cancer can really kicks in (i.e.: Car accident etc) But does the fact that not everyone of those Cancer-suseptible gene carriers NOT die of Cancer a PROOF that such gene does not exist? NO.

So yeah, it is of course arguable whether a criminal gene is in play when a crime is commited, but at this point in time, it just seems to be a logical guess that a criminal gene MAY exist and affect the decisions or choices made by its carriers.
