I think 'ah mun' has continued the character personality quite well from 'the academy', but also has improved on acting. But this time i think he has less connections with family (where are his family? they jus mention his mum went with his sister!? ) and more with Sammul and other colleagues. hv to see further to see what happens...
i don't mind Ron at all now... he seems very natural on screen compared to when he first started...for those who watched the academy ..compare his acting to this... it's a huge difference
I still think his acting is forced. I admit he is good at those playful scenes but sucks at portraying intense feelings.
His acting is okay. Not much changed from The Academy. Does anyone know what in the world happen to his mom and sister? It like barely mentioned..and since when did Sammul live with Ron in the series? I liked Ah Mun's mom in the series. She was played by Mi Xue .. aka Michelle Yim I think. She was great.
yes, with his mouth open wide and eyes popped out or sth. its a bit annoying how they cut the episodes right at the moment sth special/exciting happens.
joey's face is even funnier...she reminds me of a series she's in where her name is fei pat and she's reallly ugly in there... ron still remains the same...actually this sequel is a really smooth continuum from the academy....they managed to save 90% of the casts...funny even the clothes that ron wear is exactly the same from the academy...the black horizontal stripes t-shirt lol....
90% of the cast? but only Ron and Sammuel are permanently left in this series!? Also, did anyone notice Ron's best mate from "the academy" (can't remember his name) was never in those reunion dinners? i wonder what happend to him...

anyone see ron's expression at the end of ep10 with the argument with Sammul? lol a bit of intense drama there....must see what happens
I think Ron has improved heaps since academy. He's not so stiff anymore. I used to hate Ah Man in the academy but now his character's really growing on me.
yes, u can see his facial exprerssions and eye movement is more natural and flexible...not so stiff, yes. it all comes down to experience
