That's a great looking keyboard. I'm sure you'll love it. I actually own a few of Logitechs flagship items (the MX Revolution and the Z-5500) and I'm very happy with their stuff. Keep us posted on how you like the new keyboard.
@ kontradictions: Sure thing. And I have the z-5500 also and it's great other than it being a bit big. =D I had the LX7 before hand and the size was perfect for gaming. Edit: As opposed to the MX Revolution, that is. I meant the mouse was abit too big. =D The speakers are fine. Bigger the better, I say.
was thinking of buying one of these, but i decided the money could be put to better use, as long as the keys on my keyboard work il use it.
yeah its nice, just too pricy for my liking its like about 350aud or so there was this other keyboard that was nice optimus i think?? is it even out? i remember it was prettyyyyyyyyyyyyy the 3 button keyboard version was selling for about 150 here lol
Alright, I just installed it and it looks as nice as it does in the pictures. The keys and feel of the keys are exactly like that of a laptops. There's a built in touch sensitive mouse panel and left/right click buttons on the lower right side which is handy. The board is very solid and has a good amount of weight to it. The wrist rest has a nice brushed metal look to it which is nice. And, the board is less than half an inch thick. And, my sister is happy with hers, too. =D @ reno: Did you mean this one here? http://www.artlebedev.com/everything/optimus/ The LED keys are nice but even they don't look stylish. Maybe in the future the makers will put as much thought on the aesthetic qualities as they do on the technology. Great idea though. Edit: First problem -- I can't set the PC to sleep mode while recharging the key board. Checked to see if the same problem exists with my sisters PC and the same thing happened. As soon as I set the board on the charger the PC comes back on. I tried several combinations like turning off the board before charging to putting the PC to sleep while the board is on the charger and the same thing happens. The PC just turns back on. So if you're like me and substitute the sleep button for the off button than this is a heads up.
On second thought, reno, the optimus maximus looks pretty freakn good. It's selling for 1,500.00 USD. A bit pricey.
the style i dont like it, but the functions on it are nice...i just got the mx3000 set..and it's bluetooth....but it works more than 20 feet away......funny thing is...all new tech makes ppl lazy.
