RMVB Vs. Divx/Xvid

    Media player classic can also play rm format file.
    it's processor is faster than realplayer

    yeah .. i think so too. but any ideas where to get a complete codec packages? i just got my for free at www.divx.com

    yea, RMVB has a major downside due to the lack of playback options. :(

    For stand alone players Xvid and for quality H264.
    H264 is a new video format that the anime and HDdvd rip community is beginning to adopt

    I think these are the best video formats ever. DivX/XviD good for the quality. RMVB good for the size the file is and the quality isn't reduced too much

    Seems to me rmvb is more popular with the chinese community.

    rmvb is awesome. smaller files with great quality. you can always hook up ur computer to ur tv so it shoudl be a prob. ehehe

    I prefer divx cuz I can watch it on the tv and its more widespread. I usually just convert the rmvb to divx.

    Its not an obsession, its because VCD's are cheaper. Like compare the cost of CD-R to that of DVD-R.
