Well, I found most of them to be quite true... about having to install everything before I get a working PC, virus, crashing (I know there are people whose PC NEVER crash, mine doesn't either, but it is SLOW)... And above all, I LOVE the pristine monitor Apple has, nice design + space effeciency is worth millions... -whistle
personally if you know how to work a pc OS and understand how to keep it "clean" and working, a mac could never beat a pc god this is going to spark a mac vs pc debate which will never end -lol
I thought that happened before already... That MAC vs. PC debate -whistle I love MAC just because it's not complicated, dish out a pile of green and voila, you got a very much working computer... Plus I don't like the applications Windows MAKE you install... Like IE and MSN Live (or something like that) -whistle And the continuous patch every other day or so can get annoying...
true mac is a very user friendy orientated computer but i just need the performance of a pc and i know how my pc works well enough to steer clear of any gripes people normally have with a pc
My PC work well enough too... but being a computer illiterate I am, I am always anxious whether my PC will fail me next time I turn it on... If you know what I mean -mellow
yeh theres always something waiting to go wrong on a pc, but i blame it on the amount of crap that people will blindly install on their pc or just not doing general maintenance i guess but thats the way it is, im always up for some diversity, dont want microsoft taking over the world -lol
LOL, I tried to format my PC once in a while (say a month or so) then gave up after realizing it's a huge nuisance to reinstall all the handy programs >.< I think I'll stick to laptop = little to no upgrade = less headache, not very competitive in terms of my PC's config...
you can get backup programs which clone your hdd, means u clone when your pc is nice and new with all your personal settings and software when your pc becomes bad, you just restore the backup and like magic your pc is just like how you want it
True say... but then nowadays the programs/softwares release patches too often, if I re-install the backup I'll end up with some programs where I can't find the patches to catch up (if you know what I mean) Since sometimes the patchs are in sequence, patch 2 must install on patch 1, if my program doesn't even have patch 1 it can't install patch 2 = dead >.< I know I shouldn't be so lazy about my PC... but can't help it...
Interesting, never see a MAC with those annoying pop-up spyware/malware before... -huh It's sad that the comeback from PC is childish at best. -mellow But blue screen of doom indeed -lol
That's Because the PC doesn't need advertisement to claim its throne!!!! Lol, but i don't care too much anyways, i would still take the Xeon Core Mac or the Dell XPS anyday
