Hard to learn, but when you can control Vietnamese, you will find it wonderful.
For examble, with 5 different words, you can have over ten different sentences. even with one sentence, you have two or three different meanings. (oops!)

    sao=why; bao=talk,tell,say; no=him, her (he, she); khong=no,not; den=come

    ======>
sao bao no khong den? (why do you tell me that he doen't come?)
sao no bao khong den? (why does he tell me that he doen't come?)
sao khong bao no den? (why don't you tell him come here?)
sao khong den bao no? (why don't you come and tell him?)
sao no khong den bao? (why doesn't he come and tell me (us)?)
sao no khong bao den? (why doesn't he tell me (us) to come?)
den sao khong bao no? (why don't you tell him that you come?)
den sao no khong bao? (why doesn't he tell me that he come?)
den sao no bao khong? (why did he say no but now he cames?)
bao no sao khong den? (ask him why he doesn't come?)
bao sao no khong den? (ask him why he doesn't come? - don't wonder why he doesn't com)
khong bao sao no den? (he can't come when you don't ask him - we don't ask him to come, but why does he here now?)
no khong bao sao den? (we (you) can't come when he doesn't ask us (you) - he doesn't ask you to come, but why do you here now?)

.............. more and more, can you write it all? Funny language game huh?

All you need to know is Xue Lu and Cha Gio. You can survive anywhere with that.

Ok I still have some time before I have to go today, so let's start with a
    conversation (very simple for beginners)
Today we are using anh ́<older brother, I think it was already explained what's
the meaning about that> and chị <older sister>

    The story:

    Cô ấy là ai?
    (Who is she?)

    Anh biết cô ấy không?
    Do you know her?

    -Biết chứ́
    -Of course!

    Cô ấy là ai?
    Who is she?

-Cô ấy là em bạn tôi.
-She is the younger sister of my friend.

    Bạn anh là ai?
    Who is your friend?

-Bạn tôi là anh Hồ, ch̀ồng chị Hoa.
-My friend is Mr. Ho, the husband of Mrs. Hoa.

    Cô ấy tên gì?
    What's her <given> name?

    - Cô ấy tên Lan.
    - Her name is Lan.

Cô ấy trẻ và đẹp quá !
    She is young and pretty!

and the pronoune is almost like canto, in many differents way.
