he wasnt in the libraries i was in because those security guards are huge haha they will kick them out
lol i dont mind the library, unless i'm studying, cuz i usually talk o nthe cell in the library....but it's in class when profs tell us to turn off the phone or during the exams...thats so darn annoying.....
How hypocritical is it? It's okay if YOU talk on the phone while others are studying but other's shouldn't talk on the phone when you are studying? It's sheer insensitivity when you think you have privilege to talk on the phone and annoy the living hell out of the fellow students.
sometimes it can just be an accident that the phone rings in the library, and that you forget to put it to vibrate or silent, but in this case, it sounds like that this guy did it on purpose, just to get attention or something, and also is really stupid.
By chance or by intentional making, my school library is one of the DEADEST zone in the entire campus, unless you were able to get one of those study rooms (capacity = 8, and people usually don't "share" them), you practically get ZIP connections... -devil Now that I think about it, it's probably by intentional making...
Untrue, there are those of us who REALLY do put the mobile into silent (notice it's not VIBRATE?) mode when deem appropriate... <_<
well, what if the guy went to the library every day and EVERY DAY his cell phone went off?? multiple times. and to add to that, he'd let it ring for like the longest time (10 sec) before he picked it up as if deliberately. and he would complain that other people were loud when DUH. turn off your phone before you become a hypocrite.
It's happened to all of us, but it doesn't mean we're not bothered by it. Something's got to be done to stop it
i dont go to library that often and ring tone doesnt really bother me as long as they answer it as soon as it ring. sometimes i laugh when i heard ring tones like the one given in the first post.
OMG How annoying! in the same league as chavs playing music off their mobiles on the buses! Assholes!
