haha was flying from amsterdam to aruba last week and had a brief stop at st maarten
    the airport is pretty small
i dont think KLM flies the 747 in the caribbean anymore
there should be alot of turbulance from a plane of the size
so there pple or cars shouldnt be able to stand still in its trail, well thats wot i think

oh and pirvee i'm from aruba
yeh the islands here are quite shite

What a bad ass clip! -shock :D

But why aren't the people scared seeing a Boeing flying so close by? I reckon that's not the usual landing style, even on an island like this one? I would have run off as far I can as not to be standing in it's explosion radar. -ohmy

i'm more amazed by the bravery of the people...lol

amazing clip...i wonder how far off the ground the plane is when it crosses the road

planes a pretty big so it could be an optcal illusion...somewhat.

reminds me of the old hk airport...these dudes fly periously close to the mountains and the multistorey buildings, and they make this huge turn which tilts the plane almost 45 degress just before coming down and landing

my friend who is a flight attendent says hk old airport is one of the most difficult airports to land on, and only experienced pilots attempt it
