i recently went shopping (i'm really not much of a shopper hence the majority of tomboyish clothes and btw: i don't wear dresses often. more like never) and discovered that trying clothes really makes a difference. like someone said at the beginning (i don't remember who), try on anything that looks around your size and see if you like it. a thought occurred to me: if it's just a little bigger but basically fits you with some minor problems, why don't you get your mom or someone to help you adjust it? i found this top i liked but it was a little bit too wide right beneath my armpits so i got someone to stitch it up a bit and now it looks fitted for me :)

just remember, there's always the option of stitching up clothes (minor adjustments that is)

Fat and, Chubby (Not to mention, Tan) .
ProjectD@: i feel comfortable in it though. And it'z not some baggy white, it seems like a nice shirt (i may be fashion blind though). Besides, i have no curves (Seriously).

well if you think you are chubby and fat than theres not much to tell you cause than you'll never feel comfortable in what you wear.... you say you dont have curves but everyone does you just need the right outfit to bring them out

Yeah, me too. And when I occasionally do wear a skirt, people will give me this really weird look. I'm quite tomboyish, but there are days when I feel like dressing up too. The only thing is, I'm fat, and so I look fat in everything I wear. Sometimes takes the confidence out of me to dress up, especially when you go shopping and the largest sizes don't fit.

Yeah! I like GAP too! Comfy, practical and cool! But they're pretty costly where I am. :(

Ihhh....I think its not really about the clothes but just how you match wat you have to make you look nice....I think dark colours make people look sharper and curvier..BUt don go overboard, mixing and blending bright colours with black is real cool too...My fave is purple or red with black hahahah and i am not emo....I love colours...So honey, try playing with colours :D Good luck with it...
